Menu Plan Monday – Nov 13th

in Menu Plan Monday

Welcome to another Menu Plan Monday! What a wonderful way to start the week with a well planned menu knowing I won’t have to stress about what I’m going to make for dinner for the whole week! Whew….for a person that doesn’t like to cook (sorry Sandra!) this sure takes the pressure off me. My meal selections can usually all be prepared in 15 minutes or less and thats the way I like it…lol.

I have to tell you a funny story about my daughter. The other day my mom asked my daughter what we were having for supper and my daughter said “well Granny I don’t think we are having supper today because I don’t see the crockpot out.” Isn’t that funny! Yep I’m a lover of the crockpot that is for sure! LOL

Now onto my menu for this week:

Monday: Slow cooked Corny Chili – yes on the menu again because I didn’t get to make it the other week

Tuesday: Slow cooked Sunday Pot Roast even though it isn’t Sunday

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Stuffed shells – a meatless meal

Friday: Slow cooked Sweet pepper chicken served over rice

I also want to try making Barb’s pumpkin cookies this week sometime!

Check back for an exciting announcement regarding the 30 Day Organizational Challenge….you won’t want to miss it!!!

Happy Birthday to my sis!!

What’s on your menu this week? Please share it with us!

Hi! I’ve missed your happy page! I’m at a hotel now, so my menu is already planned for me this week. YEAH! Oh… I do have some decisions. WHERE TO GO FOR DINNER! ;)

Before I left, I made sure to “finish” my office. There’s still so much more work to do, but I left it in a manageable way, so my hubby could cope in my absence.

IT FEELS SO GOOD to free myself from some of the chaos! I’ll keep plugging away. More each day.

With a cleaner, more ordered office, more time to plan menus. I agree with you, that’s the way to go.

I recently discovered your blog and love it! I am so disorganized and hate it. I’ve been drooling over your organization, I love all the boxes, folders, drawers, etc, I’ve always been in love with office supply stores with the neat organizing stuff lol. I need to find an organizing method that works for me.

Now, I want to check out the corny chili but I can’t get the link to work? Quick, easy meals are my friend, I hate to cook lol, so it’s great to see how many slow cooker recipes you use.

Chaotic mom – enjoy your time away and eating out you lucky girl…I’m so happy your office is coming along!

Tiany – I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to get supper on the table most days without using the crockpot!

Kara – thank you for your nice words. I’m not sure why the link to the Corny Chili isn’t working for you. I just tried it and it seems to be okay. Email me if you can’t get it and I’ll send it to you. The recipe is really good!

Now that my hours are cutting back at work I am doing more and more homecooked meals. The other day I used the crock pot and my daughter was amazed that we were putting in our dinner first thing in the morning. She couldn’t believe that it would have to cook all day.

She still talks about that meal in amazement. Maybe it’s time to break out the crock pot again and make it more of a routine!? :-)

I need to embrace my crockpot! I don’t use it very often even though I know it would make life easier. I have made using my crockpot more one of my 101 goals to complete in 1001 days. So, I have at least written the goal down! lol!! Thanks for hosting and sharing your recipes!

Hi Laura,
I know how you feel about your crock pot! Me too! It is one of the best inventions.
My menu is ready to go. We are trying some low-carb this week – which is very different for us.
Hope you have a great week.
Enjoy your pumpkin cookies!

I love your site! You are so organized! Thank you so much for having the Monday Menu Planning – I recently started using my crockpot and all these recipes will be great. I just posted my first-time ever Monday Menu Plan.
All your recipes look yummy. I want to try the stuffed shells.
Thank you for the extra motivation. I chose my bookshelf last week and have steadily been working on it. I’m planning to post the pics at the same time on December 3-5th. I haven’t decided which date yet, but this way I have a goal in mind!!! Have a great day and thank you for all the links and great tips. Thank you to lifeorganizers.com

Can I tell you that we made the ground beef/hash brown bake thing that your daughter loves and no one in my family will eat it?? I made a HUGE batch, and so now I’m eating away. . . . I’m not blaming you, I’m just telling you why I’m having velveety hamburger potato broccoli mush for lunch all week.

I am going to try that Thai chicken thing, tomorrow I think.

I really love just trying your recipes.
