Hi everyone! Have you had a chance to put together a menu plan yet for the week? I know many of you in the US have kiddos going to back to school pretty quick so having a menu plan in place is a very good way to keep on top of the after school chaos that is about to take over once again. We thankfully have another three weeks here to enjoy having our kids home before the crazy kicks in.
I didn’t let on here on the blog (for security reasons), but last week my family was actually away AGAIN! This time we went on a nine hour road trip to the lovely city of Penticton in beautiful British Columbia for a family reunion on my husband’s side. It was a lot of fun! My husband’s cousin has a huge peach tree in her back yard and of course I couldn’t stop eating them. Big, fresh and oh so juicy, they were amazing!
I was so happy they let me take some home with me. I decided to try my hand at another Paleo crisp recipe, something I haven’t had much luck with in the past. I used this recipe for Easy Peach Crisp this time and it tasted pretty good.
What was the highlight of your week?
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Garlic Bacon Avocado Burgers served with grilled veggies
Tuesday: Crispy Baked Buffalo Drumsticks served with spinach salad
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Chipotle Pulled Pork Lettuce Wraps
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night! and for me scrambled eggs
Saturday: Breakfast for dinner: Fluffy Coconut Flour Pancakes
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
