Yay it’s December!! I love that I get to change my banner above to a nice new festive one for the holidays. If there is ever a month to be planning your menus this is it! With so much going on this month, planning a weekly menu is one of the easiest ways to keep your sanity. Don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be, keep it simple and let it be one less thing you have to worry about. Join us here each Menu Plan Monday for ideas and inspiration.

Speaking of keeping things simple, here is a great post listing 33 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Recipes. Doesn’t get much easier than that, does it!
Christmas Tree Hunting:
So my family is crazy. Every year we go to a local tree farm to pick out a Christmas tree and since I like to have my tree up at the beginning of December, we went out yesterday to get this years tree. Only problem was it was -30 degrees Celcius out. Yikes that is cold but if we waited for a warmer day we might be waiting for awhile. Here in Northern Alberta, Canada it is cold, cold, cold most of the winter. I thought you might enjoy some pictures from our day.
All bundled up:
Did I mention it had snowed 45 cm a couple of days before?
Our tree pick:
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Baked Tacos (family favorite)

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Apples, Carrots and Rosemary
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pan Fried Italian Chicken Thighs served with Roasted Garlic Cauliflower Mash
Saturday: Breakfast Sausage Patties served with Roasted Carrots
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a great week everyone!
