Hi friends! How are you? Are you ready for another week of menu planning? Last week I only ended up making ONE recipe off my menu plan. Yep it was a Plan B kind of week, sometimes that just happens but it’s totally okay. I still ended up using the meat I bought but had to switch things up a bit. For instance one night I had slow cooker lasagna scheduled only I forgot to put it into the slow cooker (oops) so we just had spaghetti instead that evening. So no recipe highlight for you this week unfortunately. Do you ever have those types of weeks? Are you able to roll with it and embrace Plan B?

Hi Laura,
I can totally relate to the plan B week! Somehow plan B feels better when you know there was already a plan A 🙂
As usual, thanks for hosting the linky party!

Last week was a Plan B for me… couldn’t make any of the chicken dishes planned. Store was out of stock of the chicken on sale! So instead, we had a lot of improvising to do. Plus my bad cold didn’t help either. Bleh.
Thanks for hosting this linky party. And that printable is so cute!

I make my tator tot casserole with condensed cheese soup & milk! My kids eat it so much better than with the cream of mushroom soup!

Thanks for sharing the cute menu plan. I love it! We use a plan b often here with as much in and out that we have going on.

I do Plan B a lot sometimes. It helps to have several recipes that can be made from the same ingredients, depending on how much time you have!

This has been a plan B summer for us in almost every possible way. Thank you for hosting the link up, I look forward to getting to know you better (I need some serious help in the organizing department). I already do a meal plan in my head…but it would be less stressful to have it written out. My best friend does that-and it saves her a lot of money. Maybe in a few weeks I can share my meal plan too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yes, some weeks are just plan B kinds of weeks. Sounds like it worked out just fine for you. Those mini BLT wraps look yummy. I may have to give them a try this week.

Okay so I may have gotten a little too excited when I linked my Menu Plan post to the linky party. Forgot to tell you I’m new! My blog is brand new and quite boring – more just to help me out than to be interesting to anyone else. I’m following in the footsteps of Noni at aslobcomesclean. Hoping she can help me face reality. Love the idea of blogging about my menu plan. Thanks, Laura and sorry for my newbie mistake! I think I did everything else right!
