Hey y’all! Happy mid July 🙂 How is your summer going? I hope you are finding it to be sunny and relaxing. We just had to take on a big project recently because my husband’s foot when through our deck. Yep our rotting deck needed to be replaced so that’s what we’ve been busy doing and by “we” I mean my husband lol. Can’t wait until it’s all done, I don’t handle chaos well 🙂
So last week was a delicious week. It was all pretty tasty and easy. I like keeping things pretty simple during the summer. No need to spend any more time in the kitchen than is absolutely necessary is how I feel. I’m hoping this week is just has good!

Thanks for pointing out that recipe – I need to forward it to my GF friend, who will be so excited! And thanks as always for hosting 😀
Anna @ Frugal For You says
I like the menu plan pages! I have to find one of those tortilla presses that you have. My daughter and I had a hard time making homemade corn tortillas once and haven’t tried again since.
Laura says
Anna I do hope you find one, it makes it so much easier to make tortillas and they are so good. I just bought a griddle as well so that I can cook more than one at a time which has really sped up my process 🙂

Angela @ Honey, I Shrunk the Mom says
The pizza kebabs look fun. I think we’ll try those next week. Thanks for hosting! I love seeing everyone’s menus. 🙂

Love these, but the link for Cut & Create is the same for A Daily Dose of D!
Laura says
Oh thanks for letting me know, I’ve fixed it!
Kate @ Teaching What is Good says
I’m just now beginning to get back into the swing of life as everything was put on hold with the marriage of my oldest daughter a week ago. But the farm share I’m a part of has yielded a great bounty and I’m using that to guide my menu for the week (as we have been running on NO MONEY).
Trying out a few new recipes using zucchini and I’m excited to see how they come out. Plus, I’m asking for the best zucchini bread recipes on my FB — I’m thinking of trying every one of them and offering a prize of a 4 oz bottle of my new batch of homemade vanilla!
Thanks, Laura, for your faithful hosting of Menu Planning Monday. And for all you do and offer to us women who struggle with organizing! I’ve learned so much from you and your blog!!
Blessings, Kate

Have a blessed week.
Laura says
I’m really looking forward to it. And my husband who is allergic to all fish can for some reason eat crab…whoot!
Elizabeth in Georgia says
Just got done making and eating the cheeseburger wraps! Made them for lunch for my 2 hungry teens!! DELICIOUS!!! Thank you for the menus!!! These wraps make a great lunch as well as dinner…they are great by themselves or can add chips, salsa, baked fries, etc….! They were even better with bacon added, as the original recipe suggests.
I will add this to my “go-to” lunch menus and summer dinners!!
Yes, it is mid-July…just 4 weeks ’til school is back in session around here…:( Hope you get the deck finished and that your hubby didn’t hurt himself too badly. That is nice he is “handy” and can tackle something like the deck….as long as he doesn’t decide he’s a candidate for Canada’s Worst Handyman!! LOL! Yes, I have seen that show on you-tube and it’s sure funny !!
Laura says
Well let’s just say he is reading deck books as he goes lol. Wow I can’t believe you’ve already made the wraps, that was fast! So easy and quick, one of my favorites!!
Brandie (@ Home Cooking Memories) says
ok, so I’ve been following your blog for the longest time (love it!), so I am totally geeked that you have my Oven Baked Meatball Sandwiches on your menu!! Made my day!
Laura says
Brandie, that is my kind of meal! Super easy and quick. Thank you!!
NewMrsAdventures says
I hope you love the Slow Cooker Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken as much we did! Thanks so much for stopping by!
