Go easy on yourself. Don’t expect to make big changes in one day. Start with a small project, like clearing your desk. Resolve to do the same thing the next day. Once you’re able to do that consistently for a while, move onto another small project like processing mail. You’ll build your confidence one small project at a time. This will motivate you to keep going and get your home or office into a state you are proud of. You can do it – one small step at a time.

Thanks, I needed to hear that. Some rooms have gotten in a bad state that I have that “I don’t know where to begin so I’ll just close the door” mindset….One small step at a time! 🙂

I try to tell myself these words when I get hard on myself for not finishing something fast. But if I say it to myself too much I tend to start procrastinating 😛 That’s just me though, I’m a nasty procrastinator.
