Today I want to highlight some nifty craft storage solutions I’ve found as I’ve cruised around some of my favorite online organizing sites. Now you know that I don’t think that all these things are necessary to get your crafts organized. Not all all, cardboard boxes work great too. However part of my addiction with organizing revolves around gazing lovingly at beautiful containers and thankfully this here gig I’ve got allows me to do just that all in the name of “research”. I don’t even have to have them in my home (although gosh let’s face it, it sure would be nice) in order to appreciate the cleverness of them all.
I just really like them and what kind of junkie would I be if I didn’t share my habit with others 🙂
So here we go.
Fabric Storage
1. Double Deep Box with Removable Dividers
2. 3 Drawer Fabric Storage Cart:

5. Portable Craft Organizer Caddy:
6. Four-Drawer Acrylic Storage Chest:
8. Art Bin Store-In-Drawer Cabinet:
10. 3 Drawer Storage Organizer:
12. Snap ‘n Stack Craft Organizer:

I need all of those and more!!! I have so much craft stuff in our dining room, and I NEED to reclaim the dining room. Any suggestions of how to hide it all away in the corner of a room so it looks invisible?
Maybe I just need to stop buying the stuff and actually make something 🙂

If you’ve got access to a Costco, the “mobile organizer” drawers are quite a bit less expensive! I had some before I moved to The Netherlands, and I’ve been wishing I brought them with me!
I’ll just throw another idea for cross stitchers- the StitchBow Storage System is wonderful, and I recommend their travel bag too!

I love those fabric storage boxes! And that EZ Wall Organizer? I am definitely going to have to consider 2 of those!!! I can see one above the sewing machine on the wall and the other on the only other wall space that I have in my craft room! That just looks so handy!!!!

You’ve got me wanting to go buy some things!!!!!! I was surprised how affordable the acrylic drawers are. Thanks! I LOVED your TT!

This look great. I did buy a couple of those “Stack N Craft” containers that snap together, and at least with mine, the “snap” part did not hold together well. Once I put my little doodads in the compartments and went to transport the unit, the whole thing fell apart and I spent a long time picking up all my stuff. The containers went into a garage sale 🙁

That’s great, thanks!
My best organizational find for my crafts came from you! I picked up a bunch of plastic pencil boxes during the back to school sales. It has made my life SO much easier.

I am in such clutter and disorganized mess… EXCEPT in my art room. I am so lucky and I have half the basement for my art, I just had to much not to. I think every craft known to man is in that room. I have been organizing it for months. And have it where I want. Now only if I could apply that everywhere else in my home…

I used #12 as a bento lunch box for a little while. I really liked how well it closed, although it wasn’t watertight.

Some great storage ideas. I have #11 the Mobile Organizer that I found at a local thrift store. I use it for my scrapping goodies, the only thing I’ve found is that if items are heavy, it pull my drawers off the “track” and I have to make sure I put it back exactly.

Where do I start? I love the storage stuff, but where do I start? My daughter’s room is a wreak. I don’t think there is a floor anymore. Any tips for organizing and keeping a 5 yr old girls room clean.
Please help…

I’m new to your website, and I love it so far. This post makes me want to buy more craft supplies so I can justify getting some cute containers to store them all. =)

I love your site, you are an organizing woman after my own heart. I have more arts and crafts supplies than any normal human should. My art studio is like a Michael’s so I’m always trying out new ways to contain it and prevent my supplies from becoming clutter. I like the bins for fabric storage. I keep my fabric in under bed boxes right now but may have to change. I love the snap and go storage boxes for all of my daughter’s polly pocket and Barbie accessories. Keeps them out of reach of her baby sister!

Wow, I should get you to come organize my stuff.

I am so excited about this post. My daughter is coming over and making tassels and she needs a place to store her stuff. The Mobile Organizer would be perfect! Thank you so much! 😉

Numbers 4, 5, 8, 9 and 12 are super yummy. I need things with tight lids because I live on a desert ranch in a home that was built in the 1800’s. Like it or not we have mice! (Grrrrr….) Happy TT!

I finally got my stuff all done, and the second organization post is up, too. Whew! It took three posts, but I do have a lot of stuff! 🙂
Happy Friday!

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for nice looking storage boxes for my husband’s magazines. He loves keeping issues of Golf Magazine with Tiger Woods on it and SI with LeBrown James. I don’t mind keeping them, but I just don’t want them sitting in pile anymore. I’d seen nice leather boxes with lids where you could label the side, but can’t find them ANYWHERE. These boxes would sit on a shelf in our new bookcase we got for our wedding shower. 🙂 I’d appreciate any help or tips you could give me! Thanks so much!
