Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying summer. I’ve got one more week of holidays which means one more week of not needing a menu plan 🙂 It’s nice to have a break once and awhile for sure. Plus I’ve been spoiled by my brother in law who is an Executive Chef. Last Thursday he invited us to have lunch at the restaurant he works for. We were treated to a four course lunch in a private dining room. It was heavenly and I’m not kidding when I say it was probably the best meal I’ve ever eaten. And of course I took pictures so I could share it all with you 🙂 I wish I could describe each course in all it’s loveliness like my BIL did when he delivered each dish out to us. I was going to get him to write it all down for me and I totally forgot. Oops.
First Course ~ Salad with Blueberry Dressing and Feta Cheese
Second Course ~ Butternut Squash Soup
Third Course ~ Striploin and Chicken in a cafe ole sauce
Fourth Course ~ Apple Blossom with a scoop of Pistachio Ice Cream
Oh my gosh it was all so delicious!!
So no menu plan for me this week but don’t let that stop you from having an organized week yourself by creating a menu plan today! Here are some recipe ideas I found on last week’s MPM links.
