Menu Plan Monday ~ Oct 18th + giveaway!

Updated to add: This giveaway is now over…the winners are #21 and #48.

My Blissdom Canada countdown is on!  Saturday my youngest son and I are flying out to Ontario to visit with my family and attend Blissdom Canada, my first blog conference!  I’m so super excited about the whole thing especially since I’ll be meeting and rooming with one of my very best blog friends, who I’ve known for a long time now but have never met in real life, Tanna from Complete Organizing Solutions!   Anyone else attending?  I’d love to meet up with some of my blog readers, that would be very cool!

So it’s giveaway day today!  Every once and awhile I like to giveaway a menu planning resource to aid you with your menu planning (although due to time constraints please note that I don’t have the chance to try each of them out myself).

Make 5 Dinners in ONE Hour is a menu planning service that helps you make all 5 dinners for the week in just one hour! The plan includes a grocery list, menu, assembly directions and heating instructions. These are not freezer meals, although some can be frozen for later use. They are fresh, family friendly, ready to heat meals.

Spend ONE hour a week in the kitchen and get 5 ready to heat and eat meals. Grocery shop and mess up the kitchen only once a week!

A monthly subscription is only $5.00 and includes 4 weeks of menus. You can get a free trial week just by emailing Michelle over at her blog, 5 Dinners in One Hour.

For this giveaway two readers will win a free MONTH of menus.  This giveaway is open to everyone, not just those participating in Menu Plan Monday so please leave a comment on this post, prior to Friday, Oct 22nd at 12:00 pm PST, if you are interested. Good luck!

I hope you all have a terrific week!  Make it a stress free one by planning out your menus in advance.  I know you can do it!

Here’s what we’ll be eating this week:

Monday: Spaghetti and meat sauce

Tuesday: Maple Glazed Chicken served with rice and broccoli

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Tender Roast and Veggies

Thursday: Leftover buffet

Friday: Homemade Quick Pizza

Saturday: Off to Ontario…wheee!

Simple Supper Sunday

Enjoy your conference. I know the two food blogging conferences I went to this year were great places to connect to the gluten-free bloggers I have admired and corresponded with over the last two years. There’s nothing better than real people and real conversations over great food. Hope you get all that and more.

  31. Sure wish I could get there, but I’ll be there in spirit. Since I’ve been home after losing my job at the end of July organizing and learning how my family operates has been a wonderful experience. My wife travels as a flight attendant and now I can finally contribute and get back to cooking. I used to be a PChef consultant when we only had one baby and it has been nearly 10 years since. Thanks to everyone for all of the great information; I hope that I can create my own blog that gives back.
