I’m bringing the organizing challenge back!
I’m so excited to tell you that the monthly organizing challenge is coming back to I’m an Organizing Junkie! Many of you asked for it and I’m happy to say that this one will take place during the month of February. There will be two categories again…small space and whole room…and participants are more than welcome to enter in one or both. You’ll have the whole month to complete your organizing project and at the end of February you’ll come on back and link up your success story. I know you can do this!
I’m currently finalizing the prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners which are going to be just awesome. I’ll also have some guest judges helping me out and I’ll let you know all those details on February 1st. Just wanted to give you the heads up that this will be coming soon and I hope you’ll consider participating. And no worries if you want to get a head start, just don’t forget to take before and after pictures to include in your post.
I’m also happy to share this fabulous button created for me by Jackie of Memories By Design. I just love how it turned out!

i’m in…again! i started last year and never finished. my project? our bedroom-turned-paperwork-dumping-ground! i have to get a handle on the paper clutter. it’s completely robbed us of the joy of having a beautiful refuge to rest in each night! the best part is i’ve already gotten a head start as of last week…i took the time to unearth my desk, so i’ve already taken care of a small portion of the big picture!
I’m yet to be involved in an organising challenge so I am very excited and I can’t wait!
Now to start thinking about what to do….

I am in! I have a guest room that needs to be totally made into a guest room. Right now it has more clothes than anything and I have been using it as a dressing room/catch all room. I want it to be a restful, relaxing guest room where I am proud to leave the door open.
This will be my first time, but I’m in! 🙂

Awesome idea! I just re-organized my daughter’s toys & books and I felt SO great when it was done. I’m looking forward to tackling more spaces around the house.

I am new with you..but I am IN. I have a home office that I have been walking past for the past (embarrased to say) couple of months. Just getting organized (with three kids is that possible)…is on my major hitlist.

I’m in! I have to decide what room and/or small space to use. I tried to decide so I could take before pictures, but wound up photographing the whole house. We’ll see what I can manage to do before the end of February. 🙂

I have a large family with 5 children. I’m IN. Maybe I can finally begin to get rid of stuff that’s been around from my 21 year old.
This will be fun…except the housecleaning part! Buwahahaha…I’m kidding…I’m totally in the mood for organizing my whole house….

I have baby girl #3 on the way. She will be here March 3rd so I have been organizing like crazy with help from my mom and sister. It has been so refreshing so thank you for all of your ideas and support!

My husband and I are hoping we will be moving into our new house at the start of Feb. I really need to take all of our junk, sort through it, re-organise it at this end and then organise it in the new house. If you see what I mean?

I just found your blog and am loving it! I am so in on this challenge. It will be even more interesting as I won’t really be decluttering but unpacking. You see we are moving from Alaska to Indiana (as in the packers are putting the last of the stuff in the moving truck right now.) Our new house will be much smaller so if I ever needed an organizational challenge… LOL The biggest part of the challenge will be seeing how long it takes our stuff to get down there (2-6 weeks delivery time!)
I need to organize and declutter! We are expecting our third child this summer and my house is not getting any bigger. Space is becoming a premium in my home. I have never participated before but I have never needed to as much as I do now.

I’m in! I really want my bedroom to be a haven for my husband and I. Right now it is out of control. If I don’t know where to put something it goes in my room. That needs to stop.

What a great challenge! I’ve been meaning to tackle our large laundry room which also acts as storage since we have a carport and not a garage. It is also filled with bins of ‘garage-sale’ items we want to get rid of soon. I would love to participate, thanks for the heads up!

I’ve already decided what I’m gonna do this year. I’ve already taken b4 photos. I will start a bit this weekend cuz I’m tired of the mess.
I have shipped the quilt to NY as of Monday and brother-in-law emailed me Wednesday that they got it. Believe it or not, it goes well with Kathy’s recliner he got her for Christmas!! What a coincidence!!! I feel so relieved it’s gone. My daughter-in-law wanted to know when I was going to make one for little Melody? I’m not sure if I’m gonna tackle a project like that again. I have some thoughts for fabric that I bought for her….a pillowcase made out of flannel? Will see. Will post soon of the project that’s COMPLETE!!! :0) Thanks for your inspiration!

Just what I need to get motivated!! Our “guest” bedroom is playing host to piles of out-of-season clothes, wrapping paper, hodgepodge furniture and whatever else we don’t have a place for. We moved into our house in 2008 and my sewing room/office has been the dumping ground for many of items. This is the motivation I need! Thanks for giving us the challenge!

I am cleaning my garage. This is the extra motivation I needed. Too bad I didn’t get a picture a week ago, when I started hauling out junk.
