Okay friends here’s the scoop. I want to see your drawers. Seriously everyone has a drawer that needs to be dumped and re-worked for sure. Whether it’s in the bathroom, the kitchen, the office or kid’s rooms, you must have a drawer that could use a little re-organization. That’s where this month’s monthly challenge comes in. We are going to dump, sort and purge our way to success. Doesn’t that sound like fun! And this month just to shake things up a little bit I’m making a small change to the way the challenge works.
At the end of the month, rather than pick a random winner to win the monthly prize, I’m going to hand select the winner myself based on who I feel is most deserving. I’ll be looking for those that actively follow the PROCESS steps to tackle their project and demonstrate these steps with before and after pictures.
What’s the monthly prize?
This month the “selected” winner will receive The Ultimate To-Do List Pack from the Get Organized Wizard!
The Ultimate To-Do List Pack | Home & Family Edition contains more than 250 To-Do Lists, Schedules, Planners & Organizers. With these easy-to-use lists you can overcome the chaos and overwhelm of a busy home and family life – and restore order and harmony.
Everything’s covered – including:
- Daily & Weekly To Do List Templates
- Rosters, Budgets, Shopping Lists & Calendars
- Packing Lists, Chore Lists, Homework & Chore Charts
- Decision Grids, Daily, Weekly & Monthly Planners
- Contact Lists, Babysitter Data Sheets & Checklists
- Home Improvement Lists, Logs, Meal & Healthy Eating Planners
- Grocery Lists, Pet Details and much, much more.
The lists are all beautifully laid out in a fully interactive PDF. You can simply print and use or you can enter text on screen, save, print and re-use. The choice is yours.
Don’t delay gals and guys, go dump a drawer today because I’m telling ya it’s fun and addicting and before you know it you’ll have organized drawers all over your house. Yay!! At the end of October I’ll put up a Mr. Linky for you to post your results.
So which drawer is it going to be?
More info on past monthly round-ups can be found here.

This is just made for me. I am putting it in my diary to do on Friday when it rains. Off to do my gardening tomorrow though. Thanks for the prompt.

I think the PROCESS steps will help a lot. What a fantastic prize! I’ve been trying to make my own binder forever, but with 2 little ones, I’m never going to get done.

God – every drawer in my house needs doing!
I am starting with my create/ craft drawers – I have a small bedside table/ chest of drawers type thing perfect for this project – full of magazine cuttings, scraps of fabric, buttons, stickers and half finished pieces.

Ooooh, did my mom call and tell on me?!?! This challenge was so made for me. But where to start? Kitchen, or china cabinet, maybe bedside table, husband’s top dresser drawer…I’d better get busy!!!

I love the PROCESS acronym! Is that an organizing junkie original? Very good!

Maybe this will help me find that cheese grater in my utensil drawer!

Stopping by from a link on the Chic Chick Media banner! Love Love LOVE the blog! I have just started my quest to organization this year. I thought I had already organized my “junk” drawer a month or so ago, I bought a drawer organizer and everything…but…somehow it has morphed back into a junk drawer. So, I think I’ll give it a Round 2 this weekend!

I don’t have many drawers in our home…tried to eliminate them when possible (example dressers). There are a couple that could use a going through…”purge” is a common word in our house, so this challenge is timely and will try to participate this month. Sounds like nice prizes, too.

I’ve posted my “before” pics. I’ll work on it early next week, after the Thanksgiving festivities have died down.

Okay I need this challenge, not for the prize or anything like that just because I have little bit of unfinished business and maybe some accountability would get the job done!
I did a drawer round-up at the beginning of the year…
http://www.se7en.org.za/2009/01/18/saturday-spot-a-drawer-a-day
And I quit four drawers from the end… I just couldn’t face them and I reckoned it was better to quit while I was ahead (ever so slightly)…
I would love to go back and do a quick drawer tidy, not to mention tackle the last four that I couldn’t face back then… Maybe just one a week this month will get them done… Of course with a newborn this is aiming much too high, but we will see, stranger things have happened!!!

Darn. I thought it might be the front closet ’cause London Drugs just had, are you sitting down?, seagrass baskets on sale for like about 80% off. So I took great advantage and cleaned out and organized the front closet. LOL. ;v)
I’ll try to tackle a drawer or two. My catch all dresser drawer really needs it.

I was *inspired* and organized my “Junk Drawer.” I used to be embarrassed by it, now it is so neat and tidy! I still call it a junk drawer, I’m just more particular about how the junk is arranged in there 🙂

Hmmm…I have several drawers that could use a clean out. I’ll have to try to narrow it down…
