Fall 2007 ~ 30 Day Organizational Challenge coming soon!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Okay ladies, I’ve reviewed all your lovely comments, took them all into consideration and then promptly decided that I didn’t want to alleinate anyone from participating. In fact I want this to be an opportunity for everyone to get a space or room organized in your home without having too many limitations or parameters. So look for this challenge to be run very similar to the last one that took place in the spring with two categories, a small space AND a whole room. In other words no excuses! This is it! I’ve been a busy little bee behind the scenes over the last month securing sponsorship once again so that you will also have a little motivation to keep you going, besides the tiny little factor of having your before pictures documented for all the world to see!

The competition will begin on November 1st and run for the entire month of November. On November 1st I’ll put up a Mr. Linky for you to link up your “before” photos and before you go getting all panicky about that, remember this….the worse the before picture, the greater chance for improvement, the better the chance of winning. That’s how it works, so display those before pictures proudly I say!!

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an organized space this Christmas. You are worth it!!

Organizing is a PROCESS not a destination.

I would love it if you could help me spread the word. Thanks!

I don’t know if I can hold out till Nov. 1st to start, we just merged apartments and “the stuff” has taken over. On second thought, I will have some awesome before and afters. Yes, the before shots are that bad. lol. BTW what’s the best way to store your wedding dress?

I had my wedding dress preserved and now store it in it’s special box in the top of my closet but underneath the bed is always an option too if you have the space. It takes up way too much space for my liking though.

Oh, this is perfect timing, because until I got sick last week, I have been Org Junkie Junior!

I’ve already completely reorganized one of the girls’ closets, but I still have another of theirs plus mine to do.

Or my desk area. Just can’t get it right.

    I can’t wait!

I have so much organization to do I don’t know where to begin. I agree with you on the wedding dress though. I had mine boxed to preserve it and now I have no idea where to store it. It takes up half the space in the spare bedroom closet. I mean, honestly, I have two boys so it’s not like I’m handing it down for one of them to wear (at least I hope not).

Fun! I think I’ll be doing our bedroom, it’s next on my list & I’ll have the before and after photos. With just moving in the rest of the house is pretty much done already, oh except for the kitchen pantry - there’s my space! I’ve posted some pictures of the house & my newly organized junk drawer already. This will be great motivation for me to get it finished before I go on vacation.

I am looking forward to it! I know the room I am going to work on. Unfortunately, I started on it a few days ago, so my “before” picture will actually be the “during” picture. :(

Don’t feel like you have to wait till the first to start. By all means, start NOW if you want. Just don’t forget to take your pictures!!

    Happy Organizing!

Oh goodness. I have failed miserably both times. I don’t even think that I posted an after the second time. Actually, some of the changes I made in the basement have still stuck, so that’s cool.

I’ll have to think about this.

    I’m super excited about this!!!

Okay now the question is which room do I do!?! lol.

I have so many ideas for my house but I can’t afford all the tools I need (eg. containers, shelving, etc.) so it takes me forever. But maybe this will be a birthday present to me and my hubby (his bday end of Nov. mine beginning of dec)

OH and boy am I glad I stumbled upon that comment about wedding dresses. Mine is in a box too, but it doesnt’ fit on the shelves in the closets… so maybe I should put it under the bed… or “a” bed, because a certain pup sometimes hides under my bed and she loves to chew. haha

I’ve heard mixed reviews about dress preservation. If you don’t mind my asking, who did you go with? And why?
    Thanks :)

I look forward to joining…my bedroom will be great for this! :) Although..what if we finish organizing it before the month is through? do we wait to post it till the 30th?

That’s awesome if you finish before the month is over and yes you can go ahead and post it. At the end of the month though is when I’ll put up Mr. Linky for the “after” pictures and you can just link up your post to that then.
    Hope that makes sense?!

I’m very excited to be joining in my first 30 day challenge! I’m not sure whether to do my kitchen or my filing/mess cupboard (which is supposed to be a walk-in cupboard but is just so full of stuff I open the door with great trepidation each time ;-)
