Let’s start with the good news! Remember the ticket I mentioned getting the other day? It was the motivation I needed to finally get my stuff put up on Ebay in hopes of covering that bill. Well guess what? My ticket was $226.00 and my Ebay stuff sold for a grand total of $229.00!! Praise God!!
In other exciting news I have another great giveaway from around the Blogosphere to share with you. Anyone who has read my blog for a week awhile knows how I LOVE the Taste of Home Company. I love all their magazines and can frequently be found “reading” them from cover to cover. The pictures are magnificent! Anyhoo, Molly from Molly-Coddled.com is giving away The Taste of Home Cookbook plus a one year subscription to one of their magazines of your choosing. Sweet!! Head on over and enter yourself if you want!
Also thanks to Kailani who featured my 30 Day Organizational Challenge in her “5 Minutes Around The Blogosphere” column over at the 5 minutes for mom site. Click here to check it out along with all the other great things going on around the Blogosphere this week. I love the 5 Minutes for Mom site, I mean how cool is it that twin sisters gave birth to twin girls only two weeks apart. Amazing! Susan and Janice also run two other websites, A Rocking Horse To Love and Pedal Cars and Retro Collectibles. I really don’t know how they do it all!
Considering I’m no longer blessed to have a house cleaner come into my home every other week, I’ve been taking Katherine’s lead and am working on my weekly work schedule. I know with great certainty that if I don’t structure my days a little more than I’m currently doing I will get completely distracted with organizing one area after another and the toilets and dusting may never get down! No matter how you look at it, organized toilet paper is nice but a clean toilet is even nicer….it’s just not as much fun to do. So I’m pulling something together and after reading Katherine’s schedule I’m thanking my lucky stars that laundry isn’t a daily occurrence around here. Whew!!
So my new site is pulling together nicely. Many of you will be happy to know that there will be significantly less neon in the new design. You soon will no longer need to wear your sunglasses to visit me!

I can’t wait to see your new site. My Tackle for Tuesday was all about organization and I thought of you when I posted it. LOL!
PS, I don’t mind the neon!

I’m so happy to hear God provided for your ticket 🙂
I live pretty near Reiman publications and have been a big fan of their magazines for years now. I make a run to the visitor center every fall…so it’s nearly time. My favorite was always Light & Tasty 🙂

I just wanted to say Praise God for how He provided for you!! That is AWESOME!!!!!

Isn’t it amazing how God always provides what we need. I also love the TOH company. I already have the cookbook but have been looking at the new Baking Book. I am thinking I may ask for it for Christmas. I love Katherine’s blog. I really need a schedule however I think I need to organize first. Because if you can’t see under the stuff how are you going to clean? I can’t wait for your 30 day organizational challenge to start.

God is so good, isn’t He?
I am so sad there won’t be neon. Are you sure you can’t keep just a little in there? It is such a bright spot in my day!

Good for you for making all that money on Ebay. Too bad it’s mostly spent already!
I Love the taste of home magazine too. I only purchased one so far but I’ve looked at them many times. Have you ever found the toothpick?
looking forward to the challenge. I hope I can get motivated!

Hey there! I’m usually just a “lurker”, but I love your site.
A few weeks ago, you mentioned you were planning on baking a chocolate/mint cake for your family. I got the recipe, and I was wondering if you ever made it, and if it was good or not? Would you recommend it?
Thanks, and praise God for perfectly providing!
Org Junkie says
Hi Stephanie, yes that recipe was delicious and I totally recommend it!!
Thanks for saying hi!!

I need to get back into my routine/schedule too. After moving I was so focused on purging & organizing that now I just don’t want to clean anymore. But it must be done so I’m going to revamp my schedule. It’s great that your e-bay sales paid for your ticket!

my daughter is 17 and currently enrolled at a 4 year university. I want her to apply for a credit card so she would have it for emergencies as she will be away from home. She has no credit, but a part time job. Student cards she applied for said no credit was needed but was denied. Any suggestions if
