Welcome to my February 2021 Favorites!
Hello y’all, happy end of February. The sun is shining here and I’m remaining hopeful that spring will be right around the corner. Lock down will be so much easier when I can be sitting outside on my cozy deck enjoying a beautiful day. Can’t wait! I’ve got some great favorites to tell you about today. Thank you for stopping by this little online home of mine. It’s so much fun for me to share my favorite things with you. Enjoy!
February 2021 FAVORITES
*I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. All products shown were purchased by me unless otherwise noted.*
CURRENTLY DRINKING:
Okay let’s start with the new pineapple Bubly sparkling water. I really like it and I think it might be my new favorite! Have you tried it yet?
Plus what’s not to love about the Hawaiian Aloha greeting on the top of every tab. You all know how much I love Hawaii and since I can’t go there right now, seeing this every time I take a sip is pretty cool too 🙂
And when I really want to be wild and crazy (ha!), I mix the pineapple Bubly with some unsweetened orange juice and a dash of unsweetened cranberry juice in a fun tropical glass. Pretty and delicious!
Currently Loving:
The first thing I’m loving on this month is my new shirt from Walmart. I love a t-shirt with a good message and I wholeheartedly agree with this one. Keeping it simple is definitely the good life! And it was only $12 in the men’s section.
Next is something I couldn’t resist buying. Seriously I have zero willpower when it comes to these type of organizing magazines. But this Everyday Storage magazine is especially good, so colorful and full of so many great organizing tips. You can purchase it right HERE on Amazon if you like all the organizing eye candy like I do :).
Lastly is something I’m excited to tell you about. I’ve recommended the thin velvet hangers to you many times over the years. They make a huge difference in doubling the hanging space in your closet. However I did hear complaints about them not being able to hold heavy garments as they would break. So I kept my eyes open and found thin rubber coated plastic hangers on Amazon to test out. I purchased these myself and have been testing them all winter for you. And I’m happy to tell you that we have not had one break on us, yay! And our winter parkas are heavy y’all so these hangers are durable. You can check them out HERE.
CURRENTLY READING:
I’ve now read 8 books this year! No one is more surprised than I am considering I only read 10 books the entire year last year. Two books that stood out to me as 4 stars in February were these two.
As Bright as Heaven by Susan Meissner
And The Return by Nicholas Sparks
Currently ORGANIZING:
I mentioned in last week’s post that I’ve been doing small organizing projects around the house. In that post I rearranged my pots and pans as well as my vases to make them more accessible. If you missed that post, you can check it out HERE.
By the way, this is one of my new vases that makes me so happy!
Here’s another example of the type of small organizing projects I’m constantly doing around the house. This before and after of my nightstand took about 5 minutes to tackle. Things kept getting piled up on one another so I added a tea box standing up to help keep some separation between the things. Zero dollars spent and now less frustration to manage. Winning!

Currently Purging:
In February I only did one donation drop but it was a pretty good size box. Just random stuff as a result of doing the small projects mentioned above. Get it done and get it out!
What have you been purging this past month?
My Amazon Store:
If anyone is wondering about organizing products and wanting to see more of my favorites, you’ll be happy to know that I’ve got them all together in one place. Check them all out right HERE in my Amazon shop. So many glorious things! And I’ve added quite a few new items this past month.
Current Sponsor:
Finally I want to thank Smead Manufacturing Company for being a long-standing sponsor of my site. Smead is a woman-owned company well-known for its high quality, environmentally responsible products and innovative organizational systems. For more than a century, Smead has been committed to one purpose: Keeping You Organized.
If you are working from home right now, you will find their round up of 20 home office organization ideas that will keep you organized in style super helpful. I especially think the Stadium File is brilliant! You can find Smead on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest as well as on their awesome Podcast and YouTube channel!
I hope you enjoyed taking this peek into my life and my February 2021 favorites. Tell me something that you are currently loving in your life. And if you’ve got any questions, let me know.

Laura,
Thank you for the fun updates! I appreciate your positivity, practicality and purge pile pictures. ? You provide me with encouragement, inspiration and an escape of sorts from the current day-to-day stress. I love your new shirt! I can’t decide what I like more— the price or the message. I’m from Nebraska and “The Good Life” is our state motto.
Keep up the great work!
