Hi friends! Is everyone hanging in there? I’ve doing okay but finding it stressful with two of my adult kids going through this away from home. It’s just so hard but thankfully I can encourage them still through phone calls and texts.
I think it’s so nice of some grocery stores to be offering early shopping for seniors and the immune compromised. As you know I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and while I don’t look sick, my immune system is definitely compromised. So I’m going to go shopping early and will hopefully find a few needed staples. How are you doing for supplies in your area?
My 14 year old son doesn’t have school right now and so last week I kept him busy in “foods” class making all sorts of things. One of those things was homemade buns and it took two times to get them just right. Turns out the water temperature is pretty finicky 🙂 Here’s the super easy recipe we used –> 30 Minute Dinner Rolls. Give it a try with your kiddos.
Here’s what we’ll hopefully be eating for dinner this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Healthy Chicken Pot Pie Soup
Tuesday: Leftover buffet
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Beef Stew
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Saturday: Hamburgers and fries
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
