Hi friends! Well here we are at Christmas week. I hope you are all enjoying time with friends and family. I’ve got all my kids home which makes me so happy. We are just relaxing and hanging out. I even got them to watch a Hallmark movie with me, ha! That’s love right there lol. I know I haven’t posted as much recently but now you know why. I want to soak up as much time with my kiddos as I can. That means some things had to fall by the wayside to make it happen. Wishing you all the best this season and always.
Holiday Menu Planner:
To help you stay organized with all your various meals this week you might be interested in trying my holiday menu planner. It’s free to print if you want to use it. You can find it HERE. It has a spot to keep track of what you’re cooking each day plus the preparations needed to be done in advance. I like to spread it out as much as possible so I don’t end up doing everything all in one day. A little less stressful that way.
Big Batch Holiday Party Punch:
I wanted to remind you of my Big Batch Holiday Party Punch recipe that I posted way back in 2012. If you are hosting a big party this week and have one of these big drink dispensers, you need this recipe. I worked out all the complicated math for you for the amounts needed to fill it up with this delicious punch. Enjoy!
Menu Plan Announcement:
Due to the holidays, there will be no Menu Plan Monday next week. I’ll still menu plan of course because I don’t know how to do life without it but I just won’t be posting. I’m going to try and stay off the computer as much as possible so I can enjoy time with the family.
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Sausage, rice and broccoli
Tuesday: Christmas Eve party fun: Slow Cooker Pulled Pork and buns, Pepper Cheese Ball, Mini Burger Bites with this sauce, Dry Ribs, Mozza Sticks, Pizza Bites, Veggie tray, Guacamole and Homemade Salsa and chips and Shrimp Ring.
