As I’ve mentioned a few times already, my amazing blog contributor Morgan recently published a brand new book! Morgan blogs over at her own blog, Morganize With Me, and has contributed posts here for the past four years. I’m so proud of her for writing this awesome book called Take Back Your Time. It’s all about discovering the secret to getting more out of your day by learning how to identify your priorities, decrease stress and increase productivity. I was given the opportunity to read an advance copy of the book earlier this year and loved it. Today I am very excited to tell you all about it and do a giveaway!
I’m on the back of the book:
I was also asked to write an endorsement for Morgan about her book and I was really honored to do so. And it certainly wasn’t hard to do because this book is just so good. Imagine my surprise when I received the book and saw that I was featured on the back cover. So fun!
My Full Endorsement:
Morgan Tyree’s refreshing and straightforward approach to time management is exactly what you need to eliminate the words frantic and frazzled from your life. Her smart time zone method and practical goal setting tips will leave your schedule and life feeling calmer and much more manageable. You’ll finally be able to breathe again!
Morgan’s book is unique in that it provides such an interesting approach to not only evaluating the time you have available but also allocating your priorities to three very different time zones. Your green time zone (GTZ) is focus time, your yellow time zone (YTZ) is flex time and your red time zone (RTZ) is fill time. With respect to your personality and capacity you will determine which tasks are most appropriate for each time zone. This will help you create a schedule that works best for you.
As Morgan explains in her book “the three zones will equip and encourage you to be more intentional with your time and will increase your ability to focus, flex, or fill, depending on the zone. When you assign the three time zones, you will be providing a better map for your schedule. You will be eliminating the “anytime” syndrome.”
Table of Contents:
Here’s a peek at the Contents page so you can see what wisdom each chapter provides.
Clear the Clutter:
Morgan recently wrote a blog post here based on the first chapter of her book. She details how clutter can be physical, mental, or emotional and explains how each of these manifestations of clutter can impact your time and how you spend it.
