Happy Menu Plan Monday!
Yesterday at church we had a potluck and I made the Paleo Lemon Cookies I mentioned last week. Well they were absolutely delicious. Oh my so good. I ate so many myself. But I did share too and even my non-Paleo friends thought they were yummy. Good thing I doubled the batch! Seriously you should make these, you’ll be so happy you did 🙂 Here’s the recipe.
They’re like little bursts of lemon sunshine in your mouth.
So I have more good news for you. Plan to Eat, the menu planning tool that I just love, has made some updates to their app and you can now plan your menus on it. Whoot, I’ve been waiting on this and am thrilled it’s finally happened. By the way, don’t you just love the word thrilled? It’s so fun! Anyway back to the Plan to Eat app. Yes you can totally plan your menus on the go now which is great since up to this point you could only access your shopping list on it. One thing you can’t do yet though, is add/import recipes. You would still have to do that on the website but if you have a collection of recipes in your account there already then it’s simple to just pick one on the app from your existing collection. Let me know what you think!
Here are the recipe links for what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Zucchini Pasta with Lemon Garlic Shrimp
Tuesday: Chili Lime Pork Spare Ribs served with broccoli
Wednesday: Slow Cooker BBQ Meatloaf served with tossed salad
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Paleo Pizza
Saturday: Easy Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Drumsticks
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Don’t do any menu planning. We eat the same meals every week. Monday is chicken patty and macaroni
Tuesday is sausage sandwich
Wednesday is chicken sautee
Thursday is burger night (because the 6 lunches of same is not enough for him)
Friday we go to an Asian buffet
Saturday and Sunday nights we eat dinner at Ikea. (Best deal there is for dinner.)

Hi Laura,
Good to see a tasteful collection of recipes. It’s time for me to pull off some of the recipes and serve it on plates.
I need to work on my weekly meal planning and noticed experienced lifestyle in eating habits has lead to weight gain.
I am not the biggest fan of leftovers, so my kitchen is never closed.
It is nice to have the meals planned and the shopping list created. I get to stop struggling with “what shall we have for the dinner” Easy Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Drumsticks sounds fantastic. Thanks!!!
Cheers 🙂
