Hi friends! Happy day of the menu plan. I’m feeling good about the new recipes I’m trying this week. I love trying new recipes, it really keeps me from getting bored. No matter what though they have to be pretty easy to throw together. I’m busting out the slow cooker again this week for two days. It really makes a difference for me being able to prepare it in the morning while I still have energy you know?
Not sure if you saw that I posted a Friday Favorites post last Friday and I mentioned the water bottle that finally gave me water bottle peace. I mistakenly said it was 32 oz but it’s actually 24 oz so I wanted to be sure to point that out. If you are curious what it is be sure to check out that post HERE.
My husband went ice fishing yesterday and brought me home two rainbow trout. Yay!
I’m going to cook one up for my lunch today, yum! My husband is actually allergic to fish but he loves fishing so he brings it home for me and even does the gutting for me too. What a guy! Have you had rainbow trout? Do you like it?

I love using my slow cooker on days I’ll be home! I’m usually so busy around the house all day that it’s SO nice to have supper mostly ready by that time. How sweet of your hubby to bring you his fishing haul! 🙂
I haven’t posted my menu plans lately, but I have a fun one today and am glad to be joining your linkup today! Happy Monday! 🙂
