Hey there! So today is Friday and I’m pretty happy about that. It also means I get to jump back into my weekly favorites for you. I love sharing things I love. I do it all the time with my friends in real life. Whether it’s a new product, website or song, when something impresses me I like to tell others. This week one of my favorite things includes the best water bottle I finally found!
First though, I am totally loving on the new Carrie Underwood song, The Champion, right now. There is nothing better than driving around town with a fist pumping tune blasting through the speakers. Seriously makes me so happy. I listen to it on repeat. Have you heard it yet? Listen below or HERE.
Best Water Bottle:
I really can’t believe that I found the best water bottle to finally give me water bottle peace. Whoot! Don’t even ask me how many water bottles I had to go through to get to this point. Too tall, too fat, too plastic, too heavy, too awkward to hold, the list goes on. Let’s just say I’m a wee bit picky. Some of you might remember last year when I made the goal to drink more water. At the time I had selected this jumbo water bottle from Walmart to use.
And while I did love having a great visual of how much water I still had to drink in a day, what I didn’t love was how heavy it was when full. Plus I could never bring it anywhere with me because it didn’t fit in a cup holder in the vehicle. I also couldn’t put ice into it. That all annoyed me and you all know how I feel about annoyances. Uggg. So after an exhaustive search I finally found this one below (update: looks like they sold out of the exact one I ordered) but here’s a similar one on Amazon –> HERE (affiliate link) and it is the best water bottle for me. I love it!
It’s glass which I prefer but not too heavy. The protective silicone sleeve actually works too because I dropped it the other day and it didn’t break! I also like that it has a locking flip top lip with a portable handle. It’s a wide mouthed bottle so you can add ice and the part you drink from just pours on into your mouth. I find I drink way more this way than the top types that you have to suck from. It holds 24 oz so my goal is to drink at least two (hopefully three) of these in a day which I’ve been doing. I can’t say enough good things about it, it’s definitely a winner, yay!
Organizing Mistake:
If you missed my post earlier this week, I made a confession about an organizing rule I broke. It happens, it’s probably happened to you as well. Maybe you can learn from my mistake 🙂

So what I like to do in this space is share some of the best organizing posts with you to save you from having to weed through it all yourself. Hi Laura, just wondering about the water bottle…how wide is the opening for loading ice cubes and does the silicone come off for the dishwasher?
Laura Wittmann says
Hey Verena! The opening is 2 inches wide and yes the sleeve comes off.

Aaah! I just missed this article. After being on the hunt for a decent (large) waterbottle, I bought a Contigo one (insulated, for summers too). I only wished I had seen this before :(( Anyway , thank you for sharing!
