The following is a guest post with 5 tips for an organized tea & coffee station from regular contributor, Yuni at Love Your Abode.
Do you think of coffee the moment you wake up? If you’re an avid coffee or tea drinker, you know how essential it is to have all of your ingredients readily available in your kitchen. After recently completing our big laundry room makeover, I had the itch to organize and tackle the smaller areas in our home. One of those areas was our coffee and tea station. My husband is a big coffee drinker and I’m a tea lover so I reorganized this end of our kitchen to create a more efficient space. This is also great for entertaining guests so they can easily help themselves. Here are my tips.
5 Tips for an Organized Tea and Coffee Station
1. Display those mugs.
Keep your gorgeous mugs out and make it easy for anyone to help themselves at the coffee station. When my friends come over, they know exactly where to go if they want some hot tea.
2. Store coffee and other unsightly gadgets in the cabinet.
In the cabinet right above the mugs, we store the coffee beans, grinder, filter, etc. These are all neatly tucked away but still easily accessible.
3. Utilize trays.
If you’re working with smaller areas, trays are your friend. They keep items looking neat and tidy. Corral like items together like I did here with my kettle, mugs and french press. My husband uses the french press and we only take our coffee maker out when hosting large gatherings. You can use a larger, flat tray to hold your coffee maker, creamer and sugar.
4. Use baskets and smaller containers to organize a variety of teas in your drawer.
I don’t drink coffee but I drink tea all day, everyday. I tend to drink my regular green tea during the day and cinnamon at night but I love having an assortment of teas and hot cocoa for my guests. First, I cleaned out my drawer. Next, I found some low baskets and placed them in the drawer. This will keep your teas from getting all jumbled up.
I placed the teas into the baskets so they all fit into the drawer nicely. It’s also a good idea to keep them in their original container if possible.
Perfect!
5. Invite your friends over for some dessert and coffee/tea!

This last tip is a must.
If organizing seems overwhelming, start with a small space in your home like this tea and coffee station. If it’s a space you use every day, it will be totally worth it. Happy Organizing, friends!
