Hi friends, time to do those menu plans for the week. Do you know the fastest way to drastically reduce your grocery bill? Yep with a menu plan. When you go grocery shopping with a plan, you’ll only buy what you need which makes a huge difference to the budget. On top of that you can also plan around the store sales saving even more $$. Don’t throw money away when you don’t have too.
Recipe Highlight:
Okay it’s no secret that I love potlucks, they don’t call me the potluck princess for nothing 🙂 I’m really not sure why some people don’t love potlucks but it may have something to do with not knowing what to bring for food. So I’m going to make your life super easy for you and your next potluck and tell you that this recipe is a go to. It’s a quick and easy slow cooker recipe for macaroni and cheese. Who doesn’t love homemade mac & cheese? I shared the link a few weeks ago but I’m sharing it here for you again. It stays nice and creamy but don’t do what I did and do all the prep work ahead of time and leave it in the fridge overnight to slow cook the next day. It wasn’t quite as creamy as the first time I made it so definitely prep it right before you put it into the slow cooker and turn it on.
Let me know how it turns out for you.
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Baked Honey Mustard Chicken with a touch of lemon served with broccoli
Tuesday: Crock Pot Roast with Vegetables
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Carrot Butternut Squash Soup
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Paleo Pizza Crust
Saturday: One Pan Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Asparagus and Sausage
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
