Hi friends! Happy Monday to you all. The beginning of September is my January 1st. It’s like a brand new year for me that coincides with a new season and a new school year. It all feels so fresh and new. It’s also a great time for menu planning. If you are struggling and stressed trying to get dinner on the table each night, creating a weekly menu plan will save you all sorts of stress! If you have any questions about it, let me know!
I wanted to apologize for something last week. I linked to a recipe on another blog and shortly after my blog went live the owner of the other blog suddenly switched access to the recipe so you could only get it if you signed up for her newsletter. Please know that I never link to recipes that require you to sign up for something unless of course I give you the heads up first. So sorry about that :(.
Did you get a chance to read my post last week about my experience dropping my son with food allergies off at college? I would love to have you come on over and read it. And if you know others that live with food allergic children, I’d appreciate you sharing the post with them. Thanks!
Harvey Raffle:
The lovely lady that helps me here on the blog with all the yucky techy stuff, has coordinated an awesome raffle to help raise funds for those affected and devastated by Hurricane Harvey. There are 12 different great prizes up for raffle and you can visit the harveyraffle.org site to check them out and buy a ticket to try and win. Tickets are $5 each, per prize. One of those prizes that I’m excited about is a one year subscription to Plan to Eat, the menu planning service I love. Plan to Eat is an easy way to ‘clip’ recipes from anywhere online. You save them to your Plan to Eat account. You arrange them to create your own meal plan. And PTE creates your shopping lists for you – accessible through print or online.Check it out!
All the details about the raffle and all the prizes can be found right HERE.
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Paleo Broccoli Cheese Soup
Tuesday: Baked Spaghetti Squash with Tomato Meat Sauce (no cheese for me)
Wednesday: Easy One Pan Roasted Chicken & Veggies
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Cauliflower Chicken Fried Rice

Letting go is never easy and mine was a Coeliac so I know the struggles but luckily I taught her how to cook and she ended up cooking for her whole house !!
