Hi lovelies, welcome to another week of trying to keep it all together and get dinner on the table every single night for our people. No matter how much we feed them one day, they still want to eat all over again the next day. It’s exhausting isn’t it? Seriously without a menu plan I would be lost and have a complete melt down every night when that awful witching hour hits. So if you’ve stumbled on today’s post out of desperation, I feel ya. I’m here to tell you that menu planning is going to make life so much easier for you, I promise. Check out my weekly menu below for recipe ideas as well as all the loyal ladies that link up with me each week. Take it slow if it sounds intimidating and start by planning just two or three days this week. You can do it!
Menu Plan Announcement:
Now that I’ve said all that, next week there will be no Menu Plan Monday posted. My middle son is leaving soon for college and I just want to spend as much time with him as possible hanging out and getting packed. I’m still in denial that this is happening. Even though I’ve been through this before, it sure doesn’t get any easier. Sniff. Menu Plan Monday will return on September 4, 2017.
Paleo Treat:
I found this delicious healthy treat a few weeks ago at London Drugs and thought I’d share it with you in case you too are looking for a refined sugar-free treat. They aren’t always easy to find, especially here in Canada. And by share it with you I don’t mean the actual chocolate, just the picture, oops. That’s not so nice of me is it, I’m sorry, but hopefully you can find them in a store wherever you are.
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Easy Oven Baked Paleo Meatballs served with Healthy Green Smoothies
Tuesday: Maple Glazed Garlic Chicken served with rice and broccoli
Wednesday: Clean Eating Slow Cooker Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Quick & Easy Paleo Pizza
Saturday: One Pan Pork Chops with Apples and Onions
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Hugs to you — I think our oldest are the same ages; it was hard again this year when she went back. My second daughter begins college as well, but she’s attending close to here and will live at home. Much easier!

That would make it easier for sure! My son has all sorts of food allergies and I am just having a hard time processing him being so far away. He is responsible and prepared and is ready. I’m just not there yet 🙁

Had to go through this a few years ago with my eldest as she headed off to College for the first time – she now has her degree !! Best wishes to your son as heads off on this adventure.

Thank you Amber! My son has many anaphylactic food allergies so I think this is what is weighing most heavily on my mind.

Thanks for posting about the chocolates! I used to live near a store that sold individually wrapped chocolate honey candies, same concept. Every time I would visit the store, I’d end up buying a handful.I’ll have to look for these 🙂
