Hey friends! Welcome back. Are you new to writing up a weekly menu plan? Are you here wondering why in the world people even do it? Curious to know more about how it’s done? Well you’ve come to the right place! I am passionate about the benefits of menu planning because of how much of a difference it makes in my own life. As a result, I get a wee bit hyped up about encouraging others to give it a try and why I keep sharing my menus here week after week :). Menu planning will save you money, time, space in your pantry and most importantly your sanity! For reals.
Start slow and small. Plan for two or three days a week at first so you don’t get overwhelmed. Use simple recipes to make life easier. Having a plan will help you successfully master the 4:00 pm witching hour with all your marbles in tact. It’s brilliant really. Got questions? Ask away in the comments.
Recipe Highlight:
For our church potluck yesterday I made this tropical Pina Colada Coleslaw and it was so yummy. I highly recommend you give this quick, easy and healthy recipe a try.
I used these most amazing coconut chips in the recipe and oh my did they ever add a special touch. I get them at Winners here in Canada similar to Ross/Marshalls in the US. Have you had them? So good!!
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Turkey Apple Club Lettuce Wraps served with delicious Healthy Green Smoothies
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Garlic Chicken Drumsticks served with broccoli
Wednesday: Sausage, Potato and Green Bean Foil Packets
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Prawn Mango Avocado Salad
Saturday: Open-Faced Portobello Burgers
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
