The following is a guest post about three ways to organize accessories from regular contributor, Yuni at Love Your Abode.
Hi there, friends! Today, I’m sharing a quick and easy method to organizing some of the accessories you may have in the closet. The best part is this versatile holder was only $1 from the dollar store (see note from Laura below). I’m not quite sure what the original purpose of this holder is but I’ve found it to be quite useful for holding some of our accessories. I love when I discover cheap ways to organizing things in our home.
Here’s how I organize some of the things in our closet using this simple holder.
Necklaces:
A while back, I shared a tutorial on my DIY necklace holder tutorial here on Orgjunkie. This is just another way I hang up my necklaces. I’m thinking this would be perfect in my youngest daughter’s room to hold all of her play jewelry. The girl has about 5 wardrobe changes a day! I’m not sure why I didn’t think about this before.
I simply hung the holder against two picture frame hooks that you can purchase at any hardware or large retail store. It keeps the rack snug and secure.
Belts:
Another way I like to utilize this rack is by placing my belts on it. I have one that hangs next to my closet door so I have easy access. I overlap them on the hooks to hold multiple belts. This way, I can also see what I have and I’m more prone to wearing them.
Ties:
The last way we utilize this rack is by hanging up my husband’s ties. He just folds it over each hook. Each hook can hold multiple ties as well. He doesn’t own many ties but this is a much nicer way of storing them instead of having them constantly slip on normal hangers or buying an expensive rack.
Organization doesn’t have to be complicated, fussy or expensive. Using these inexpensive hooks helps to organize these 3 accessories in our household. Let me know if you find any more functional uses for this simple holder. Thanks for reading and hope to see you over at Loveyourabode!

*Note from Laura: I couldn’t find the exact holder online but I did find this similar organizer on Amazon and it even has basket storage space on top. Sweet!

I have been using something similar for years for my belts and jewelry. The difference is the ones I have are made like coat hangers so they are easy to hang in the closet. I have no idea where I bought them.
