Hey friends, TGIF! I’m not feeling the greatest today so I’ve had some time to catch on some blog reading. I still managed to get some decluttering done this week though. Just a small amount but like I shared on Instagram, small purge piles add up over time. It took me 10 minutes to go through my bookshelf and purge this pile of books. Books are hard to part with but once you get on a roll it does get easier. Deep breath!
So spring is still on my mind because I literally can not wait for it to get here. It won’t stop snowing where I live in northern Alberta, Canada. I’m so over it. But then Lowes Canada sent me their new Spring/Summer catalogue and that definitely helped cheer me up. We have a lot of guests coming from out of town in June for my middle son’s graduation this year so I am dreaming about how I am going to freshen up the deck and yard to make them party ready and fun. How adorable is this rain boot planter? So cute and yellow, my favorite color right now as I shared last week if you remember.
Also they sent me super cute cookies that look like coasters!! My son is very anxious to get his hands on one!!

Changing out my desktop background is another way to lift my ‘spring please come soon’ spirits. Here’s a pretty tulip one I’m loving right now from Houseful of Handmade.
Keeping with the spring theme, check out this lovely free spring floral printable from 36th Avenue.
And if that makes you as happy as it makes me, then you might also like this timely reminder below too.
