Hi all! A happy thanksgiving to all my US friends who are celebrating this week. I hope you have a wonderful day spending time with loved ones eating all sorts of really yummy foods 🙂 Here in Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving back in October.
It’s my youngest son’s 11th birthday this week so we will also be partying here. School is always optional for my kids on their birthdays and I can always count on my youngest to take me up on it. My older two never did, crazy kids 🙂
Plan to Eat:
Also I wanted to give you a heads up on an awesome Black Friday sale going on from Nov 25 to 28th. Plan to Eat, an awesome recipe tracker/menu planning tool, is holding their annual 50% off sale. With this site it’s so easy to import recipes from around the web that your family loves and then drag and drop them into a menu planner. It will then create a shopping list that you can print or access from your phone. It’s so fantastic that I’ve been recommending Plan to Eat for years. If you’ve been interested in trying it out, now is the time to do it! You can also give gift subscriptions.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Bacon Butternut Squash Soup
Tuesday: My youngest 11th birthday – at his request: Chicken Wings and Baked Fries. For dessert: Chocolate Layer Cake
Wednesday: Honey Dijon Roasted Pork served with broccoli
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me it’s Gilmore Girls Party #1 ~ I’ll be bringing Paleo Bacon-Wrapped Pears and Paleo Cinnamon Bun Doughnuts
Saturday: Gilmore Girls Party #2 ~ Mini Hamburger Bites and potato chips
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
