Hi everyone, happy menu plan day! First I have to start by saying Happy Thanksgiving Canadians!! I hope you all enjoy your extended weekend relaxing with loved ones and eating delicious food. We did that yesterday. My husband made us the most delicious chicken dinner. We get these beautiful large chickens from a local farm and they are so good. We have lots of leftovers for today along with homemade chicken soup that we made from the bones. Yum, yum.
I also made the Paleo Pumpkin Pie Squares you see in the picture above. I had to double the crust recipe because it didn’t seem like enough for the required pan and the pumpkin part didn’t seem to set as much as I would have liked. Other than that they tasted pretty good 🙂
The big news around these parts though is all our SNOW! Yes snow. I wasn’t lying when I said we usually get snow in October. The next seven months are going to be very looooong ones.
I hope you all have a marvelous week. Make it an organized one by creating a menu plan!
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Homemade Chicken Soup
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Turkey Bolognese with Zucchini Noodles
Wednesday: Easy Slow Cooker Pork Roast served with Baked Sweet Potato Chips
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night! and for me Spinach, Shrimp & Avocado Salad
Saturday: Homemade Burgers in the Oven served with spinach smoothies
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

I think I would cry if we had snow already. I do remember trick or treating in the snow a few times, though. Happy belated Thanksgiving! The pumpkin bars look delicious.

I may have cried a tiny bit 🙁

Happy Thanksgiving! Look at that snow, not ready for that around here (though we do occasionally get a rare October snow, just not that much of it).

We almost always get snow in October and I’m still never ready for it. It still always surprises me 🙂

Oh wow – the snow picture made me want to cry!! We’re supposed to get a killing frost tonight here in upstate NY, and I was feeling sad about that! Stay warm, and happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanks Amy, seven months of winter is way too long that is for sure.
