Hello beautiful people! It’s menu plan day, are you ready? Do you have a plan for what you’re going to eat this week? If you don’t, why not? I’m really curious about that. If you don’t have a menu plan, how do you know what to buy when you go grocery shopping? Inquiring minds want to know 🙂
Recipe Highlight:
So yesterday we had potluck at church and I decided to bring a Meat Paleo Veggie Chili recipe and it was absolutely delicious. I came home with an empty slow cooker so that should tell you something. Hey and look I took a picture, not a great picture, but a picture nonetheless (and just for the record that may be only the second time I’ve used the word nonetheless in a blog post).
Church Potlucks:
I am a huge fan of potlucks and because of that I am the one in charge of running potlucks at my church. I love them so much my church family officially dubbed me the Potluck Princess complete with my very own monogrammed Potluck Princess apron! How fun is that!
Our potluck setup and all the yummy food
How do you feel about potlucks? Love em or hate em?

I’m generally a big fan of potlucks, but sometimes they can complicate planning for a host.
I’m definitely trying the garlic bacon pot roast rceipe!!

Yes that is true, for small parties I find it easier to ask guests to bring certain things but not necessarily specifics….for example bring potatoes but not specify whether they should be baked, mashed, fried, etc. Or veggies but not say what kind. Still an element of surprise similar to a potluck but you can be sure you are going to have all the categories covered 🙂
