Hi friends, I’ve only got one Friday favorite today for you but it’s awesome and you can get it today and tomorrow (Aug 26th and 27th) for FREE. Hello? What’s better than that?
The Mindset of Organization – free organizing book!
It’s an organizing book called the Mindset of Organization by Lisa Woodruff, a Professional Organizer and Productivity Expert. I know Lisa through her organizing blog Organize365.com and I am excited for this release of her brand new book.
The book releases today on Amazon for $12.99 but you can get the Kindle version for zero dollars today and tomorrow. Don’t have a Kindle? No problem, I don’t either. But I do have the Kindle app on my iPad and that works too.
The thing I like about Lisa’s organizing book is it goes into detail about four different phases of our lives and how organization is different for each of those various phases.
The Four Phases of Life:
Seven to Twenty-One: Childhood and Adolescence
Twenty-One to Forty: Accumulation
Forty to Fifty-Five: Survival
Fifty-Five and Up: Downsizing and Legacy
Throughout the book Lisa makes it clear that there is no one size fits all when it comes to organizing. I agree! Each phase of life brings unique organizational challenges and emotional clutter to tackle. Looking at a women’s life as a journey through 4 distinct phases of life provides a framework to anchor basic organization principals.
Lisa uses her experiences and those of her Professional Organizing clients to share real life examples of some of the struggles we might be experiencing in each of the phases and how we can implement lasting organizational solutions to counteract those struggles.
My thoughts:
I like this book. I like Lisa’s practical no-nonsense approach. She gets it, she’s been through many hard situations in her life that have left her surrounded by a lot of clutter and chaos. In fact, I don’t believe any of us are immune to this and sometimes we just need someone to provide us with a direction and a plan when it’s all too much.
Lisa’s book is that helping hand when life is crazy and you are feeling overwhelmed with your home and your stuff and your schedule. Based on whichever phase of life you are in, you will find really great manageable solutions to help you get your life back on track, without overwhelming you further.
I wanted to be sure to get this information out to you today so you can grab the FREE Kindle version if you are interested.
Let me know what you think of it! Have a super weekend everyone and don’t forget to take some time to declutter and organize!

I got the free ebook, although it wasn’t free even when it was to be free. It’s a different kind of Kindle that was free which I don’t have but 99 cents is a good deal. Also sent my daughter the link and hopefully it will give her some help as she needs it. Thanks Laura.
