Hi friends, I hope you are all doing well and feeling organized and ready for the week. I know those of you celebrating Thanksgiving in the US this week especially need to be organized if you are cooking up a big meal and perhaps hosting company for the weekend. Here is a pretty Thanksgiving menu planner you can print out and use for the week to help you stay on top of things if you want.
My youngest turned 10 yesterday and I think all he did was eat all his favorite foods all day long lol.
He absolutely loved his french toast for breakfast, Laura Vitale’s Fluffy Chocolate Chip Pancakes for lunch and Pioneer Woman’s Chili Cheeseburgers for dinner (this recipe link can be found in last week’s MPM post).
Funny story though that I have to share with you. While I was making the pancakes, I asked my son why mine didn’t look like all round and lovely like the ones pictured here in Laura Vitale’s new cookbook (affiliate link).
He said it was because she was perfect and we are just a regular family that isn’t perfect. Haha. But then he went on to say that the Pioneer Woman was probably only perfect on her TV show and after the cameras turned off she most likely didn’t have it all together either. Oh my goodness I couldn’t stop laughing. I love his rationale for trying to make me feel better. Kids say the cutest things!
{Pioneer Woman’s Chili Cheeseburgers}
{his favorite Lemon Loaf Cake for dessert}
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Quick Ham & Cheese Quesadillas and for me Spinach Salad with Blueberries and Almonds
Tuesday: Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken served with rice and broccoli
Wednesday: Bacon Garlic Short-Rib Loaded Sweet Potatoes
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night! and for me 3 Ingredient Paleo Pizza Bases
Saturday: Baked Chicken Wings with Chipotle Glaze served with spinach smoothies

Have a wonderful week everyone!!
