Hi menu planning friends! Last week was all sorts of excitement around here as we celebrated my son’s 16th birthday. He took his driving exam in the morning and passed! He was all smiles for the rest of the day!! It was so very exciting 🙂
Then Friday night was dinner club. My girlfriends and I do this once a month and each month a different person hosts with a different theme. This month was harvest theme and it was a great time. I can’t eat a lot of the food because of my diet restrictions but that totally doesn’t even bother me. It’s just fun to hang out with the girls. Here was the yummy looking table.
I also want to wish all my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving coming up this weekend!! Here in Canada Thanksgiving comes early. Technically it’s next Monday (a day off for many) but in our house we always celebrate on the Sunday before so we have the Monday to recuperate 🙂 Looking forward to it!
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Paleo Italian Chicken Fingers (family favorite) served with tossed salad
Tuesday: Ginger Beef, Mushroom & Kale Stir-Fry (with some basic substitutions)
Wednesday: Crockpot Honey Apple Pork Loin served with broccoli
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night! and for me baked salmon
Saturday: Paleo Pancakes
Sunday: Thanksgiving dinner! Roast Turkey, Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Mash, Garlic-Roasted Asparagus and Mushrooms and for dessert Cran-Apple Gingerbread Crumble
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I love the idea of getting together with friends regularly for a meal. Lately I have been wanting to start something like that myself.
Thanks for hosting!

Oh you should Jamie, it’s such fun and it makes it easier on everyone when it rotates houses each month. Plus everyone brings a dish based on the theme so it’s not too much work for the hostess which is nice 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving. My son is 16 and in NY you get a permit to learn until you are 16. Earliest you can get a license is 6 months later. Congrats to your son.

Even here in Canada it varies the driving rules vary so much from province to province. Here in Alberta though you can a learners at 14 and your full permit at 16.

What a fun idea to have a dinner club. I enjoy cooking for people who love to eat. My friends and I are a very diet restrictive bunch, I would have no idea what to make!
Thanks for hosting as always. Glad your Thanksgiving is a month before mine so you can give me some good Paleo ideas. Pinning this post so I don’t forget!
