Menu Plan Monday ~ May 26/14

Hi everyone!  Today my US friends enjoy an extra day off and a long weekend.  I image MPM will be quiet today as you all take time to spend with friends and family 🙂

I’m so excited because this Sunday brings us to the first of June.  Woohoo!  June is my birthday month and for those who have been around here awhile it should come as no surprise that I LOVE birthdays including my own!!  It’s such a joy to celebrate another year here on earth.

So because of the holiday I’m going to keep this short and sweet today but I did want to highlight this cookie recipe that I posted last week just in case you missed it.  Check out this Magic Cookie Bar Cookies recipe.  Yum, yum!!!

As you can see I’m keeping things really simple this week because that’s the way I like to roll.  Menu planning doesn’t have to mean complicated meals.

Oh and if you aren’t a blogger but would like to share your weekly menu plans with us please feel free to leave it here in the comments or on our MPM Facebook group page.

I hope you all have a delicious menu planned week.  Stay organized friends! 🙂

My Weekly Menu Plan:

Monday:  Slow Cooker Shredded BBQ Beef

Tuesday:  Tomato Avacado Melt

Wednesday:  Shrimp Tacos

Thursday:  Leftover buffet

Friday:  Pesto Tomato Pizza

Saturday:  Slow Cooker Greek Chicken

Sunday:  Church potluck ~ I’ll be making Cheddar-Bacon Dip and Banana Split Pie

I love cookies and I love butterscotch! How awesome would it be to have both in one bite? This recipe is perfect, I am definitely working on this with my nieces over the weekend. Thanks, Lauren. You are awesome. Wish us luck!

I’m excited it is almost June as well. Our May has been so busy that I’m excited about the slower pace that June will (hopefully) bring us! Your simple meals sound really yummy this week.
