Before I get into my links this week, I wanted to clear something up. Recently it came out that Amazon does not allow you to share Amazon affiliate links via email. Well this was a problem for me since some of you receive and read my posts through email each time a new one is published (thank you for that by the way!). So the only way to get around this weird Amazon rule was to switch to a truncated version of my posts via feed and email. Essentially this means a shortened version of the post is sent to you but you have to click over to my site to read the remainder of the post. I know many of you are not happy with this decision but I don’t know what else to do so I don’t get in trouble with Amazon. I can’t stop using Amazon links as it’s a source of income for me to help keep the blog up and running. Probably the biggest problem though was that an image didn’t go out with the new truncated posts which is an even bigger turn off for readers. I’m a visual girl myself so I totally get that. BUT I am happy to say that this problem has been fixed so that while you’ll still receive a shortened version of my posts at least you’ll get to see the featured image to entice to you to click on over to the blog 🙂 I mean how can you resist when you see beautiful pictures like this:

My Weekly Favorite Thing:
I have a new found food love. I am going to admit to you that I love me some whipped topping on my fruit. The brand I use to use was not so healthy for me. Then I found this one called Truwhip at my local grocery store and it is delicious and so much better for me. It has no high fructose corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils and is gluten free. Plus it’s only 50 calories for 3 tbsp which I didn’t think was too bad but apparently there is also a “light” version but I haven’t seen that available here in my area.

I’ve been with you for a long time and having to click on the links is not that big a deal for me. I enjoy reading the things you post and you have helped me be more organized.

I don’t mind clicking through to the website, but, if you can, it would be nice to have a next/previous buttons at the bottom of posts for when I get behind on posts. If it’s too difficult I will live. 🙂 Content is the thing I keep coming back for, so if I have to use my mouse a little more to click over I don’t mind.

Hi Haley, yes at the bottom of my home page there isn’t a next/previous button right now. There use to be and for some reason it disappeared on me. I’m having it fixed on May 12th so it will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for letting me know 🙂
