Happy Friday to you! Everyone looking forward to the weekend? Ours is going to be cold but I don’t mind because that means I get to break out my turtlenecks! Gosh how I love my turtlenecks, I’m pretty sure I own one in every color. I have a long neck so they work for me what can I say 🙂 Anyone else a fan of the turtleneck?
I read many many blogs each week and each Friday I pick my favorites to share with you. So kick back with a beverage and relax for a bit. Then hopefully be inspired and go organize something. Come on you know you want to!
My Weekly Favorite Reads:
My friend Becky at Organizing Made Fun shared this post with us about how she helped her girlfriend makeover her clothes closet. Be sure to go check out the before and after pictures.
As most of you know I’m not big on setting goals. This past week I read this great post from Sheila at To Love, Honor and Vacuum called Just Do The Next Thing. Instead of trying to plan your whole life out, just do the next thing. Love that! “If you have a ton on your to-do list, and you can’t manage it all, don’t try to decide when you’ll get it all done. Just ask, “what one task do I want to do next?” Then do that task.”
This post from Jenn at Clean & Scentsible shows you how to create a homework station for your kids.
I’m a HUGE fan of printables and this one is so super adorable for this time of year. Visit the Gal on a Mission website to download it for FREE.
Over at Somewhat Simple, you will find a simple trick for hiding cords. Very clever!!
Finally here’s another free printable to help your kids remember to clean up after themselves in their bathroom. My kids share a bathroom and they are responsible for cleaning it. A nice reminder here and there is never a bad idea 🙂
My Favorite Things This Week:
Two things I want to tell you about this. When I was in Ontario last month I visited Sephora for the first time. I wanted to buy some old lady skin cream for my face to make me look young and beautiful again…ha!. When I was at the till I saw this awesome mini tester set of products and I couldn’t resist buying it because it was a collection curated by bloggers. I love to support other bloggers 🙂 In this set was a mascara that I fell in love with. I don’t normally wear mascara because I react to it and I get all puffy eyed and weird. But guess what I didn’t react to this one and it made my eyelashes look amazing. And the name cracks me up…it’s called Better Than Sex mascara!
Have you noticed this year that reindeers are everywhere? All the stores seem to be carrying them in some form or another. I picked this one up at Walmart the other day because well look how adorable he is. So cute!
I was also so happy to stumble across these fun Christmas reindeer free printable gift tags over at Pretty Providence. I just can’t get enough of the reindeer and of course free Christmas printables…whoot!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

I am totally loving that you are doing this weekly on a more manageable scale! I always wanted to look at your monthly links, but it felt like I never had enough time to sit down and click thru all of them. Thank you for switching to this. I have found several great ideas and printables I am using. Thank you!
That said, I’m off to print those adorable labels!
Have a great day!
