Updated to add: The winner is Brenda at Savin’ It Up!
Whew this month fly by, didn’t it?! I do hope that some of you were able to tackle your vehicles this month and hopefully the changes you’ve made will take some stress out of traveling for you.
To participate in this month’s organizing round-up all you have to do is link up below to a post on your site telling us about how you organized your vehicle. Don’t forget to include your before and after pictures. Remember to use the direct link to your round-up post and not to your homepage. That’s helpful for those of us who might not get a chance to take a peek at your post until later. Also, as a courtesy, if you are going to participate please be kind and link back to this post within your post.
Those that link up before Thursday, July 2nd at 6:00 pm PST will be eligible to win a copy of Julie Morgenstern’s book, When Organizing Isn’t Enough. A winner will be chosen at random from the Mr. Linky list below.
If you missed this month’s round-up, here is a summary of the applicable posts I did that may be of help to you:

I’m really quite confused now. I thought that the Surface/Shelf one was for May… and that July was the Hair supplies/Makeup.
So, we’re doing the Surface/Shelf for July instead?

Laura, I am not blogging at the moment, so I will just leave a comment. I cleaned out the whole van, even that storage container in the back that I keep plopping in there even though I forget what I have in there. I put together a car repair kit (for on the road emergencies), a first aid kit (yes, I had one that I have not used in over 12 years – time for an update) and organized the essentials – a flashlight, extra house keys, tissues, owner’s manual, coupons for on the go (dinner out, shopping, etc.) I also made tags for each kit so I can quickly see what I have and what might need updating or replacing. If I get organized enough, I will do a guest post for you on it :>)

I cleaned out my car and discovered where the smell was coming from. A leftover school lunch buried in the back. EEEWWW!!
Does that count?! (kidding) LOL

My car was easy to do this year becuase I had to clean it out earlier this month for our road trip. But i did find some “lost” stuff that the kids swear they left in another state.

I cleaned out my Jeep Liberty today, but I really didn’t organize anything. I don’t keep much of anything in there on a regular basis. I have an umbrella behind the passenger seat (withi easy reach if I need it as I’m getting out), and in the back I have a pop-up basket type thing that has a few reusable grocery bags and some jumper cables. I have a good first aid/first responder kit that velcros to the carpet so it won’t slide around back there too but thats all. My first child is due in October…I’m sure my “empty car” will change!

I just bought a new car a couple of months ago, so not much to clean out, I am trying to put some of these ideas to good use so I can keep that new feeling for longer, at least another month 🙂

My little Prizm doens’t have room for a bunch of totes, organizers & such – I did get it completely shampooed out & I put a new seat cover on the back seat.
Also, cleaned out the glove box, replaced flash light batteries, wiped everything down (dashboard, radio & such) & stuck more pens in the pen holder.
Instead of true seat covers I use a water resistant blanket in the back(with hemmed holes cut out for the seat belts to go through) & 2 good thick towels in the front – I try to match them to the upholstery/interior. I need to get new towels since my son accidentally bleached the ones I had 😉 Gotta love kids.

Well, my old vehicle is gone cuz I traded it in for another car. so I don’t have photos….did put a couple boxes in the trunk that I used in my van. Keeps sacks of groceries from tipping over. It’s still nice and clean from being washed at the dealership, so that’s a plus. Have cloth shopping bags one inside the other in the back seat so I can remember them. If I put them in the trunk, I’d probably forget them. Nobody sits back there anyway (back seat, that is!) Have a great 4th of July…..we are going to the rodeo on the 3rd…fun!!

Apparently, hitting tab in the Mr. Linky widget is a bad idea. . . I just accidentally ended up linking in the wrong one. Please delete my off topic link for this post, I apologize. I meant to include it in the Menu Monday that is further up the page.
