Hello my friends, can you believe December is upon on us already! Where does the time go? I’m late posting today as I was trying so very hard to get the freezer cooking links up and ready for you. Please be sure to go take a look for lots of ideas on stocking your freezer full of everyday meals as well as how to get a jump start on your holiday dishes. Let me know what you think!
I hope you like the new holiday banners I made up as well. I tried to come up with two totally different looks for you. I’m all about the options people 🙂
Okay so with the holidays upon us now more than ever is the time to menu plan. If you have been following along with Menu Plan Monday but have yet to jump in (I know you’re out there!), now is the time. Save yourself the supper mad rush headache by planning out a couple of meals to start and you will see what a load off it is knowing what’s for dinner those nights. We’ve got almost 300 ladies showing up here each week who wouldn’t keep doing it if it didn’t work. Menu planning works, trust us!
So here’s what’s on menu plan this week:
Monday: Hashbrown Sausage Skillet (didn’t have last week)
Tuesday: Spaghetti
Wednesday: Crockpot Maple Dijon Chicken
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Going out to a Xmas Party for dinner!
Saturday: Homemade Pizza
Simple Supper Sunday
WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU THIS WEEK?
Menu Plan Monday banners and guidelines are here.
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a Pouchee if you haven’t already!
Glad to be a part of your menu planning! It sure has helped my life!
I saw Stephanie’s recipe for maple dijon chicken and can’t wait to try it 🙂 Enjoy it!

I forgot to say that I’m new. This is my first menu plan. Thanks for this site!
What a fabulous blog and event! Thanks for hosting and I look forward to participating often in the future!
Mmm, I put that Maple Dijon Crock Pot Chicken in my queue.
I also wrote a little note about your freezer links post in my MPM post this week. What alot of work you went to to compile that. Thank you! I think it will be helpful for alot of people:)
Thanks for the new banners, I was hard pressed to chose one!
Cheers, Kiy
That maple dijon chicken thing looks really good. I went to the link, and I’ll have to try that!
Nice freezer meal links also. I used to do once a month cooking when Jo-jo was a baby. Now she’s almost 15. I will say this about freezer meals: not all are created equally. Some would have been better not frozen and just having the meals on hand. (I’m thinking of the frozen noodle things–why not freeze the sauce and make the noodles fresh?)
I transitioned to: Make a Mix type of stuff a few years later. This is another great time saver.
Now, I try to cook as fresh as possible, but some meals lend themselves to being frozen: lasagna, chicken packets, burgers, etc.
The convenience of freezer meals can not be beat! Thanks for the great inspiration.
Thanks so much for hosting this. I always get great ideas!
Happy Menu planning! Your menu looks good–no turkey?! Lucky you!

I don’t see the Mr. Linkie :/
Just wanted to let you know that we are experiencing problems with Mr. Linky. Mr. Linky is down but hopefully will be fixed soon.
Thanks!
“Leftovers Buffet” sounds so much classier than just ‘Leftovers’!
Hey Laura
I see your comments are closed on your conference post.
Anywayyyy, wanted to say you look GORGEOUS in red!
Now you’ve intrigued me with the powerpoint thing – what exactly did you have originally that was so wrong???
I’m so glad I found this… Sorry I linkied so late, but our computer went down in the middle of my doing the post. I finished on the wii but it wouldn’t let me link! I almost just waited for next weeks… thought I’d be nice though lol.
I couldn’t be much later than this!
Just getting back in to meal planning. Thanks for keeping us on track!
