Well you’d think that since I haven’t posted in a couple of days that I would be telling you that I have finished both the will and the insurance video but I haven’t done either one. Yes I’m ashamed to admit it. However I did spend way more time than I needed to yesterday organizing the house lol……seems I always organize way more when I have other jobs I’m trying to avoid! I got all the baby’s toys organized and sorted out and yes I rearranged his room again. How many others love to rearrange rooms like I do? It makes everything feel new and fresh.
So my hubbie finally hung my second ladder shelf in the upstairs bathroom…..the shelf I just had to have…..remember the voices……well now that it is hung up I realize that I have nothing to put on it! Apparently I didn’t really need the shelf as much as I convinced myself I did….but it does look pretty!
Tip for today: Store things where you are going to use them. I was trying to find a spot for all my son’s sports equipment (knee pads, shin pads, elbow pads, gloves..etc) and my hubbie said to just keep them in my son’s room. That made no sense to me for a couple of reasons. One my son would have to go all the way upstairs everytime he needed his stuff and usually he is already outside before he realizes he needs it AND he’d have to remember to take it all the way back upstairs to put it away when he was finished with it…..why set my son up for failure like that……so what did I do….what every org junkie would do…..I emptied the hall closet by the front door and reorganized everything in order to find a spot for another basket…..a five minute job turned into an hour but I did it….and now everyone is happy!

That is really great that you were able to put so much thought into where things should go etc! I tend to figure it out after the fact!! Your family must feel so blessed to have someone that cares for their needs (and their things!) like this!
I tend to organize or scrub some crazy corner etc when I should be doing a simple pick up, lol ;o)
Keep up the great work! I really enjoy your blog!
