Printable Grocery List Envelope

A couple of weeks ago you might remember I posted the link to my Grocery List Template.   Shortly after that, Nicole one of my very nice readers (she doesn’t blog so I can’t link to her), sent me an email that said she had converted that grocery list into a grocery list envelope.  She put the grocery list categories on one side of an envelope with check boxes on the other side to remind you of the items you need to bring to the store with you.  Any coupons and/or cash you want to bring with you can then be conveniently stored in the envelope.  How cool is that!  I absolutely loved her idea so much that I asked if I could please share it with all of you and she said yes!

To print all you have to do is open the document in Word (clicking on the Grocery List Envelope link below will take you where you need to go to do that) and then print the category page on one side of a business size envelope.  Then turn the envelope over and print the second page on the side of the envelope with the flap.  Done!  If you have any questions, please just let me know.

Thanks Nicole, this really is brilliant!!

Free Grocery List Template

I was so excited last week about your response to the menu planning template I created that I just had to do another one!  Today I introduce to you my grocery list template.

Grocery List Template

The method to my madness on this one, and why I didn’t add lines to each of the boxes, is that grocery lists (in my opinion) aren’t suppose to be neat.  If I had added lines in, I would have been forced to write neatly on each of the lines and I just don’t have time for such silliness.   So the boxes are wide open in order to make it as simple as possible to whip up a grocery list in no time flat.

If you are the type that would rather check off grocery list items on a checklist that’s okay too.  There is an excellent, free and very detailed one called the Ultimate Grocery List that you might prefer.  Another one, with slightly less detail, that you might also like is brought to you by Squawkfox.

The best resource on the net for lists though are the ones produced for you by List Plan It.  It isn’t a free service but Jennifer’s rates are extremely reasonable especially considering the number of lists you get access to.  So many lists!
