Focus Interview with the iLash Girls
I’m so excited to be featured today on the wonderful site iLash Girls. Each month Leigh Anne and Sherra provide one word to concentrate on and put into practice for the month. January’s word is FOCUS. I love this word and loved sharing my thoughts about it including why I think multi-tasking is way over-rated.
Oh and you’ll also notice I finally updated my picture although I’m still hanging onto my baskets for dear life :)
Work It, Mom!
I’ve recently discovered another blog I’m excited to share with you today. It’s called Work It, Mom! and it is an online community packed full of helpful information for working moms. This includes moms who work from the outside office, the home office, full time or just even 5 hours a week. I’m not kidding when I say there is something there for everyone.
Work It, Mom! launched a year ago and is growing quickly. Their mission is to combine the most helpful tips, to assist busy moms juggle work and family, with a great engaged community that is available for support. I’m pretty skeptical when it comes to these types of sites because the nature of them confuses me with information overload as I try to navigate my way around. I find Work It, Mom! to be well organized though and I appreciate that I didn’t get lost as I hopped from section to section.
I was thrilled when a couple of weeks ago founder and CEO, Nataly Kogan, emailed to ask if she could interview me for the site. How could I say no, I mean if someone is asking to know more about my crazy obsession then who am I to let them down :)
You can check out my interview here.

But wait, it doesn’t end there (okay I’m seriously starting to sound like an infomercial now). Work It, Mom! just launched a new collaborative blog called Problem Solved where readers can get their most pressing questions answered. Yours truly has been asked to contribute my two cents in response to some of the organizing questions, yay! I’m not sure when I’ll have my first post up there yet but I’ve already been given my first two questions so I’d better get a move on :)
