Hey there, welcome to my 2017 popular organizing posts round-up! It’s that time of the year again where I jump into my analytics and figure out what my more popular posts were for each month last year. I like having them all consolidated into one post like this to make them easier to find and look back on. Some of these you may have read and some you may have missed the first time around. So if you are needing a little organizing motivation to help you tackle a pile of clutter or two, well here you go. Maybe one of these will help.
Don’t see what you are looking for here then hit me up in the comments. After 12 years of blogging, I think it’s safe to say I’ve written A LOT about organizing, ha! It also means that it gets harder and harder to find new fresh organizing topics for you so if you could help a girl out, take a look around you right now and tell me your biggest organizing struggle. That could help me come up with new material for you. Thanks friends, happy new year!

Unequally yoked
I think my husband has permanent clutter blindness
And I have gotten rid of as many flat surfaces to catch things and pretty much stick by everything has a place and those things need to be on their place. A lot of bumping heads over this

Oh Marsha I can so relate! You are doing all the right things though. We can’t change our spouses so compromises are needed for sure. I absolutely don’t touch my husband things on his side of the bedroom, his desk or in the garage. I do try to be respectful of that. I manage all the paper in the home so that does help. If a common area is getting cluttered with his things, I bring it up and see if we can reach a compromise of some sort. It’s definitely hard because everyone has a different level of clutter tolerance as well. My husband and I try and meet in the middle but it did require me to ease up on everything being perfectly in place all the time which turned out to be a good thing for me 🙂 Way less stress overall 🙂 Hang in there, Laura

Org Junkie! You’re my fave! You write such AMAZING posts! Plus, since I know you personally, I KNOW you are an amazing gal! 🙂 Look, I love ALL of these posts, but I especially love the one about teaching your kids how to cook. I have TOTALLY failed in this area! I have one 16 year old child left to train up in the way she should go! Is it too late? Am I past my prime? What do I do???? Send help! (If you can…)

Thanks girl! It’s never too late, leave her a recipe and then leave the room and see what happens. She might just surprise you!! 🙂
