Hi friends, happy Thursday to you today. I spent FIVE hours yesterday cleaning and organizing my 10 year old son’s room. As I said on Instagram, this is something we do on the first day of school break every summer. Summer can’t officially begin until we get his room and all the stuff he brings home from school put away where it belongs.
He works along side me as well because it’s a great opportunity to review the PROCESS of organizing with him and remind him how’s it done. I never sneak into his room and toss things while he’s not home because all that does is teach him not to trust me and he doesn’t learn the valuable skill of organizing either.
So much better for kids to learn these skills young rather than when they are older and the stakes are higher. I’ll share more on this topic next week with you all. Be sure to subscribe to my blog HERE so you don’t miss a post!
What organizing projects are you working on this week?
