Hi friends! I’m a bit in denial that it’s the end of 2015 already, wow! I am excited about the start of a brand new calendar though, that makes me feel delightful! Plus all the stores support my organizing habit in January by bringing in truck loads of storage containers to get us to spend our money on. That too is also delightful even though my house has probably reached its containerizing max by this point. Maybe what I need is just a new house, ha! Just kidding, sort of. I do like seeing what is new out on the market for organizing possibilities….an organizing blogger must stay on top of the trends of course 🙂
My family has decided to veto me this year and have insisted that our Christmas decorations stay up until January 1st. Yikes! I’ve never ever done this before as I love the whole process of taking them down and organizing the whole house as a result of the clean up and am usually itching to do this by Dec 27th at the latest. BUT this year I’m going to try and just relax and enjoy the next couple of days with my family but come Friday it’s game on as we declutter and organize to my heart’s content. I can’t wait! When I posted this on Instagram I was actually surprised to learn that the majority of you wait until the new year to take your Christmas decorations down.
Once again though I did notice that as soon as boxing day hit my pageviews went through the roof, most of it from my Pinterest boards as people search out how to get organized in the new year. If this is the case for you and you want to get started please visit my START HERE page where I’ve listed some of my most popular posts. And to help you with your most current need of getting all the decorations and gifts put away, please check out these couple of helpful posts:

Next up is Longstem Organizers, a company with awesome products for organizing your jewelry. The Longstem Jewelry Organizer was invented in 2006 by Alison Albanese, a private investigator by training, who had long searched for a way to store and organize a lifetime of collected jewelry. After experimenting with jewelry boxes, pouches and other storage devices, she began experimenting with wire to devise an organizer that would make accessorizing easy and fun.
The Longstem Jewelry Organizer can hold over 300 pieces of jewelry and displays it all so you can see all your items in one glance. It provides easy accessibility to pierced earrings, bracelets, watches, ankle bracelets, rings, pins and necklaces. Being able to clearly view all of your collection makes accessorizing fun and easy. It’s made of heavy duty, powder coated steel.
The door/wall organizer is pretty enough to hang on a bedroom wall, inside a closet or hang over any door and secures with one screw under earring rack. This two piece organizer includes two door mounts, four wall mounts for hanging, and a removable plastic tray with six compartments. Hardware included. This organizer has a total of 38 hooks that can beautifully organize and display your whole collection of jewelry. Finally a solution to all your jewelry chaos!
