Hi friends! How are you this week? My week started out on Monday with a trip to the ER with my youngest (9). He fell at our local water park and gouged his knee pretty good. So good in fact that he needed nine stitches. Oy! He can’t really bend his knee at all so it definitely put a damper on doing any fun outdoor activities with Granny & Grandpa who were visiting. They made up for it though by playing at least a million and one card games 🙂
Yesterday I made some Gluten-Free Citrus Chocolate Cupcakes for my gluten, dairy and egg free son (15) and realized that I had originally posted the recipe on my blog in 2008 (!) and it desperately needed a picture upgrade. So I took some new pictures of them and updated my post if any of you are interested. Even my non-allergic family members love these!
Have a great week y’all!

What a bummer to end a day at the water park with a trip to the ER for stitches! Glad he was able to still get some fun in with cards 🙂 Thanks for hosting! I hope you a great week.

That’s too bad about your son’s knee. He now has something to tell and show everyone when he gets back to school. I bet you were glad that Grandma and grandpa were there to play cards! Thanks for hosting!

Ow! Hope your son heals quickly. The salmon and zucchini dish looks really good.

So sorry to hear about your son. I know playing card games with my grandparents was always fun. We used to spend lots of time with them in the summer, camping and just visiting with them. Playing cards was always part of our visits.

Aw, knee injuries are the worst when you want to be out doing things! Hope he has a speedy recovery. Those cupcakes look really yummy.
