Hi friends! It’s the start of another week but today is a stat holiday for us here in Canada so we have the day off to enjoy, yay!!
My New Favorite Kitchen Tool:
If you follow me on Instagram you might already know about my latest obsession. I recently found this AWESOME tool for salad chopping right in the bowl (similar to how Subway does it). I found it at a random tiny kitchen shop but I just noticed that you can also get them on Amazon. I love anything that makes life easier and since I eat salads so much these days, this lovely little tool makes it fast and easy to prepare them.
Menu Plan Monday – Plans and Recipes!
So I wanted to run something past you all. I’ve had a number of people ask me lately whether or not it’s okay to add recipe links to the linky list below. Up to this point it’s only been for menu planners and their weekly menus however with fewer people joining the link up with menu plans each week, I’ve decided to open up the linky below for recipe links as well. I’ve seen that some people are already doing this and I haven’t heard any complaints so I think it will be okay. The goal of Menu Plan Monday has always been to help people plan their menus and finding easy recipes is often the hardest part so hopefully this will be a bonus for all.
Reminder:
*Please make sure that you share new links that you have not shared here previously.
*By linking up here you are giving permission to possibly have your photo(s) featured at next week’s party and/or included in a collage graphic, as well as being shared by me on social media.
Thanks everyone!

Oh my goodness! We have been using our chopper wrong! I did not realize that you could use it in the bowl! I bought it without looking at the packaging thinking it was the kind that you buy so that the lettuce does not turn brown after it has been cut, which by the way it really does work for that. I am off to try to chop my lettuce in the bowl. Have a great day off 🙂 Thanks for hosting!

Doing it in the bowl is the best part! So fast and you can chop your veggies with it too 🙂

I could use a day off today. Enjoy yours and thanks for hosting.

That little gizmo looks like something I could totally get into – I’d get one for work too. Alas, I haven’t seen any here… but I’ll keep looking! Enjoy your day off 🙂

What a nifty little gadget! I will have to keep my eyes peeled for one of those!
I think links to recipes are ok in the link-up. I’ve found a few recipes I’ve tried through this link up so I wouldn’t discriminate. 🙂
Looks like a great week…a pizza party sounds fun! 🙂

That’s awesome to hear Kate, thanks!

I’m a little late linking up this week. I have to watch myself with those kitchen tools or I end up with a kitchen full of things I’ve used once. That salad chopper looks really handy though.
