Hey friends, I think I might almost be feeling human again, whoot whoot! When I don’t feel well enough to dance, I sure do get grumpy. A day is not a day without a little boogie in your behind 🙂 Seriously give it a try, get up right now and dance yourself silly. No matter what kind of crummy day you are having you won’t be able to help but laugh out loud. And laughter even for a moment is so so great!
So now that we are feeling all loosened up and relaxed (yes?), I wanted to share a podcast I did awhile back with Joel Zaslofsky from the blog Value of Simple. Joel runs a popular podcast called Smart and Simple Matters and one day he asked me to join him on it to discuss all things related to organizing and simplifying. We both have the bug for simplifying and while the journey might look different for each of us we are both passionate about the freedom that simplification brings to our lives.
I just found this declaration on Joel’s website and I hope he doesn’t mind me sharing it here. Really good stuff.
The Smart and Simple Matters Organize It All Podcast:
I really enjoyed chatting with Joel on his podcast and I wanted to share it here although I’m always so incredibly nervous to do so because I fear I never make any sense (in fact I couldn’t even go back and listen to it myself). However I humbly do it simply because my number one goal (regardless of how awkward I come off) is to help others on their own organizational journeys and to assist in whatever way I can to create organizing junkies everywhere 🙂 If any little piece of something I say does that, then it’s all worth it to me.
To come on over and have a listen please visit this post. You can also subscribe to the podcast on iTunes if you want.
Thanks everyone and don’t forget to keep dancing 🙂

Thanks for the great write-up, Laura! Don’t worry: you did great. And that’s coming from someone that listened to the episode three times. 🙂
I can’t vouch for how many people started or continued dancing after they listened, though.

Great job Laura! It’s fun hearing what got you started in organizing and I love the hope you offer people that they can learn to be organized too.

Thanks Laura for introducing us to Joel. I just subscribed. I love to listen to podcasts while I clean house, garden or quilt. I work full time now so I have to use my at home time wisely.
