Hello, hello, hello! How are you? Hope you are all well and ready for a brand new week. Our Middle Eastern dinner club this past weekend was so delicious and I was pretty happy with how my Feta and Red Pepper Hummus turned out as well.
Thanksgiving Resource:
As most of you know I don’t love being in the kitchen and cooking disasters are a regular part of my life. Cooking big dinners makes me so nervous and the only way I can really manage it is by being organized and preparing as many dishes in advance as possible. I found an excellent resource yesterday to help with advance planning that I thought you might like as well.
Mel from Mel’s Kitchen cafe is sharing her Step-By-Step Guide to Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner in Advance. Her spreadsheet, that you can download in pdf format or as an editable Word version, is well organized and easy to read and she provides all the recipes to go along with it. Really fantastic stuff and she is sharing it all for FREE.
Menu Planning Resource:
My friend Rachel over at Home Sanctuary wrote a great post on Busy Family Menu Planning. She shares how you can EASILY come up with a whole month’s worth of dinner plans without burning up any of your precious brain cells. How about that? Yep and she walks through each step of the process. Don’t miss it!
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Cheesy Ham & Potato Soup served with Bread Machine Garlic Bread
Tuesday: Crock Pot Chicken Thighs served with roasted red potatoes and peppers
Wednesday: Crock Pot Brown & Maple Sugar Pork Tenderloin served with rice and broccoli
Thursday: Church lunch potluck, I’ll be bringing Picnic Coleslaw. Leftover buffet for dinner.
Friday: Youngest son’s 8th birthday! His pick for dinner is pizza that comes to your house (ha!), caesar salad and for dessert he’s asked for chocolate cupcakes on top of a chocolate cake. This could be interesting!
Saturday: Bow Ties with Sausage and Tomato-Cream Sauce
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a great week!!

No error message, I just never saw my link…even after a few hours…watch it be there now ;o)

Just checked and it still isn’t there – this being my first time, I sure I did something wrong. No worries. I’ll try again another time.

I am looking for help with low carb meal planning. I use emeals right now but our family likes only 2-3 meals out of the 7 weekly meals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know of anything off hand that specifically provides low carb meal planning. Have you checked out my menu planning resources page?
