Hey there, today I’m sharing a video that I found for you on You Tube of a girl showing how she organizes her non walk-in closet. I thought it provided some great ideas on how to maximize space really well in a closet this size.
Let me know what you think of this master closet organization!

Good job with a small space.
One thing I like (and do!) that you seldom see in these presentations is that she has a designated place for empty hangers. Once you take a garment off a hanger, you need a place for the hanger to wait until the item is washed and returned to a hanger.

I really enjoyed the tour of this person’s closet and got lots of ideas. There were a couple of questions I had, though. Where in Canada can I get the skinny space saving hangers and the pants hangers that she described? Also, she spoke about putting her off-season clothes somewhere else. I don’t have the luxury of having space elsewhere as I live in a smaller space than she does even (and with four people). I’m curious where and how others store their out-of-season clothes?

Bernice you can get the space saving hangers from just about anywhere. Walmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Home Sense, etc. Same as the pant hangers. Under the bed is an excellent storage place for out of season clothes. You can buy very shallow totes that will fit perfectly.
