Hello! It’s Friday, Friday, Friday! Whoot!
I haven’t been online much this week as my daughter (16) had all four wisdom teeth pulled. Poor thing is in some pain right now (although not as much as she thought she’d be) and her face is swollen up something awful but it is done so that is a relief.
My parents arrive for a visit next Thursday so I am in full on cleaning and organizing mode. I am not a clean freak normally but when company visits I like to kick it up a notch. Seriously if you are lacking motivation to do some cleaning and organizing in your home, just invite someone over. It really works!!!
Thank you to all of you who commented last week that you are enjoying this new feature very much. In fact many of you said you like it better as it’s more manageable to read fewer links than a whole pile all at once. So here we go with another 5 weekly favorites!
My Favorite Weekly Links:
Office Craft Storage Towers ~ @ The Homes I Have Made
Oh my this is a must read! You May Not Want What You Think You Want ~ @ Your Happy Stuff
DIY Wall Organizer for Your Entryway ~ @ Place Of My Taste
Make a Post-It Note Chore Chart (with free printables) ~ @ Tatertots & Jello
Using Nook Space for Storage (every bit helps!) ~ @ Cake.Bake.Celebrate
What I’m Loving:
As for what I am loving on this week I have two items I want to share with you. First is a food that I am gaga for right now. This Oikos Greek Yogurt is soooooo good. And only 90 calories per 100g tub! Cherry is my absolute favorite flavor. I eat one every day for lunch and I get so excited to eat it. Hahaha…it’s so funny how something so small could put such a smile on my face 🙂
I often switch up our chore chart system to keep things fresh and exciting for my 7 year old son. Right now I am using the Roll-a-Chore game on my fridge and he is getting such a kick out of it. As you can see he made some changes to 9 and 10 which made me laugh because what he took out was a kiss and hug for mom and dad. Little stinker especially considering he’d rather make his bed and clean the table before doing either of those things. Ha! He’s not getting out of it quite that easily 🙂
What are you loving on this week?
Have a great weekend everyone!!

I love the chore chart! How many chores is he supposed to do per day?
Laura says
Hi Christine, yes I should have clarified that a little more. He doesn’t have to do each one every day. Right now he thinks of it more as a game so I sort of let him choose how many he wants to do. Of course having the treat one on there as it helps with motivation 🙂 It’s also summer so he has a lot more energy so we’ll have to see how it goes once he is back in school.
